What to do with confusion on the spiritual path?

As i sit down to investigate my beliefs about reality i find i come to the same conclusion about things. When i really think about it, i find my answer to questions like “who am i” “what is this ‘floor’ that i see?” “What is this experience im experiencing?” Is just “i dont know.” 

When i arrive at that answer, i have no idea where to go or what to do. I just become confused and leave answerless. Do i just sit in that state of not knowing?

Im not exactly sure whether i truly don't know these things, or if ive somehow deluded myself into believing i don't know when i already have an unconscious assumption about it. Either way, how can i figure out whether i truly don't know the answer to these kinds of questions? And if it is such that i truly don't know, what do i do then?
