Huel (powdered food)

4 posts in this topic

What do y'all think of Huel? For those who don't know it: a nutrionally complete powdered food with natural ingredients.

I really like it because of the convenience but I'm somewhat sceptical about how healthy of it, despite it consisting of all healthy ingredients. It contains a lot of vitamin supplementation, which I'm not sure is healthy? And I also don't know if there are any consequences to food being digested this way?

Any insights, opinions?

Just use it as a supplement if you dont have enough time to make food.

The huel formula is one of the best out there, not sure why they get so much hate.

If you want you can make your own Huel Drink for a tenth of the price and split the macros how you want. Its mostly powdered oats/protein powder and a multi vitamin. You can throw in anything else you want/need in your diet.

There's no subsitute for real food so just have Huel when you need it.

In what way would you say that Huel is not 'real' food? (It's a mixture of natural ingredients, right?)

Mainly pea protein, it isnt real food

Along with the sweeteners, powdered oils, Thickening agents and the sources of their vitamins and minerals

Havent you read their ingredients?
