The Trap of Chasing the Idea of Good Government

On Facebook I once again had a contact with a minarchsist, a believer of "good government", who is designing a new state construction.

I answered there:

"The question is, what do you think about resignations in your favorite state (organized right of secession)? Whether you feel threatened by it, or whether you are so empathetic that you would do anything about it.  I believe the former. And then you can put as much love and dignity into your constitution as you want. Love is not there then."

That's one of the best things I've come up with about this topic so far.
