Mindfulness with labeling eyes?

Is it okay to move your eyes when your doing mindfulness with labeling, can I focus on different objects in my sight, or should my eyes just be still? Or does it even matter? When I am doing it sometimes i like to focus on different objects in my sight, but I am not sure if that´s okay or the most effective way to do it. Appreciate the advice.

Sometimes yes, but I feel like this technique is more effective eyes open, at least for me.
