Nice. I’ve never heard of samadhi and all those tearms but how it was explained was very similar to an experiential account of that happening. 

I have never personally thought of any of it as any type of movement of practice or concentration but this may just be the word usage/meaning.

Although this seemed to happen all at once for me. I don’t see any stages as I look back. This may depend on circumstances I guess.

Same here. Upon awakening there was a straight thrust into the absolute with no stages,aside from the practices I had been doing up to that time. Samahdi is just a hindu term given to that object-less aware state where one recognizes their true nature of being the one reality,pure awareness,spirit,brahman etc.,

Awakening without permanent abiding would be nirvikalpa samahdi. It lasts anywhere from hours to weeks,but the person does not stay there permanently and still has some work to do/karma to deal with. This is where I'm at,and the reason I still do practices. Progress is related to how long one is in the pure (sahaja) abiding "whole" state. They are abiding states of oneness. Sahaja samahdi is the permanent enlightenment, not relegated to, nor can be called a state, where there's no longer any coming or going. All residual karma has been purified.
