Is this really possible to read someone's thoughts? I have seen some people do it on the internet and in real life but confused. Is this a natural ability or something developed with practice? Thoughts?

In a nutshell, the more you know yourself the more you can identify with others.

As one discovers the multitudes of finer subtleties of self, so too will you identify with other peoples subtleties.
