Can high consciousness heal physically?

Today (during another 5-meo experience) I had the chance to take a deep dive into a physical illness of mine (permanent torn nerve routes to one limb). And could see how the pain, discomfort and defect motor function are imaginary and just held inside reality by pure choice. And that the "degree" of discomfort ect. is also pure imagination. And with that, I sensed brief moments of returning motor functions and "normality" instead of discomfort. So does neuroplasticity and body/mind healing work better with high states of consciousness? 
I know that Joe Despenza and others strike the same note, but is there any true practicality underneath that? Maybe there is someone here, who has more experience on that matter.

@Vynce good topic but tricky AF. 
bottom line is there are real physical laws and lines to this world. IMO psychedelics (and dreams and paranormal phenomena ) show you that there is more to reality than physicality . But I don’t know why people can’t utilize them to alter physical reality . Leo have tried a lot to heal his health issues with increased consciousness but he reported failure . I don’t know .
