Gave my girlfriend 5-MeO-DMT - Question

For the first time, I decided to share 5-MeO-DMT with someone - my girlfriend.

She had never tried psychedelics before, apart from occasionally smoking weed with me.

I'm using the e-mesh method, so we started very low, at around 0.5 mg.

She had an absolutely mind-blowing experience! She kept repeating how amazing it was to be a woman. As she was coming down, she said she'd just had the best orgasm of her life. (Not gonna lie, I felt a little jealous hearing that 😂)

Anyway, she came down smoothly, and everything went great.

Two days later, she tried it again, this time at around 1 mg.

But strangely, the experience was completely different. No trip whatsoever. Instead, she just felt nauseous, dizzy, and like she needed to vomit.

Any ideas why a higher dose would produce no psychedelic effects, just unpleasant physical symptoms?

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Of course that can happen. That's very normal.

Vaping 5-MeO is tricky because when your technique is poor, you won't inhale the full dose. How lungs absorb chemicals all depends on your inhalation technique. The chemical can get stuck in the throat or mouth, never making it deep into the lungs to absorb. You could also cough it up, etc. There are many variables at play.

Also, even at a proper full dose, 5-MeO-DMT doesn't always produce the same trip. Trips can vary significantly just depending on the mood you're in.

Higher doses produce more nausea and negative effects.

Of course bad trips are possible. One trip could be heaven and the next trip could be hell. There are no guarantees and you cannot control it.

Bottom line is, nothing went wrong. This is just how psychedelics work. Make sure your inhalation technique is solid.

I've pretty much perfected my e-mesh vaping technique over the years, so I doubt that's the issue.

Yeah, the possibility of her having a bad trip does worry me a bit.

She doesn't seem to carry much emotional baggage or unresolved trauma. Would that actually lower her chances of having a bad trip?
