spiritual bypassing examples

21 posts in this topic

Spiritual bypassing works in very much the same way as run-of-the-mill "non-spiritual" bypassing; it is all about focussing on and getting lost in a certain relative perspective (such as "nothing matters" or "I am God") as a way to avoid seeing the big (absolute) picture, which includes and therefore transcends all possible perspectives.

The mechanism is exactly the same; it is only the content that is different.
