Bliss Is Not A (Specific) Feeling

Again, this is a relatively (in)valid statement... meaning that it is valid in one sense and invalid in another.

It is valid in the sense that when you wake up and find that your town is still standing, you can say "oh I see, it only got wiped out as part of a dream".

And it is invalid in the sense that in the dream, the town actually was wiped out. Sure, you can tell yourself that it was "just" a dream; but that dream you had was an actual occurrence/experience that undeniably took place in and as part of reality, or else you would not remember it. (Even if you say that it is just a memory that is popping up in the here and now, the simple fact of the matter is that this memory is popping up in the here and now, making it a real and undeniable occurrence.)

Notice that when you classify your waking existence as "more real" than dream existence, you are making a relative distinction that is solely based on conceptual thought. So "ABC is true" and "XYZ is untrue" is in the end nothing but a mental story.

See what I mean?

In any dream, including this life, it feels as if things are truly happening, otherwise the dream wouldn't be very convincing.

From the perspective of the Absolute or the Changeless, nothing has ultimately changed, hence a statement which i think many a sage has made: nothing has ever truly happened.

(You could say this is nothingness happening, ie pure magic.)

Yup, all of this is relatively (un)true.

Waking, dreaming, real, unreal, changing, unchanging, permanent, impermanent, nothing, something... all of these are mental labels aka. relative distinctions/perspectives.

The Absolute (= that which has no opposite) includes and transcends them all.

The World Is Illusion.

Only Brahman Is Real.

The World Is Brahman.

Really, there are actually people who believe the bus will pass right through them ?

Its possible but not from the state of consciousness we are currently operating from.

I hear you. And I agree, no words can come close when talking about the Absolute.

A statement like: "nothing has ever truly happened" is not trying to describe the Absolute though.

It's simply pointing to a very logical fact. From the perspective of the Absolute.

Hence it's been uttered by so many sages through the years.

But yeah, all words are relatively (un)true.

@Wilhelm44

'And Jesus said unto them, “Because of your unbelief; for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, ‘Remove hence to yonder place,’ and it shall remove. And nothing shall be impossible unto you.'

Neo: "Are you saying I can dodge bullets?"

Morpheus: "No, when you're ready, you won't have too."

I hear you, and yet i have heard many say that siddhis etc are a distraction, ignore them and move on.

Im open though.

You have to decide that for yourself.  If you don't make that choice it will be made for you.

Its my understanding that if you "die before you die" aka Know Thyself before the limited self expires the texture that is Wilhelm44 will go beyond the veil of death into a realm of its own making.  The promise of the Infinite.  That's what Morpheus and Jesus and the million other examples are reminding you of.

You're going to suffer and die like everyone and everything else but it will all be worth it because you'll be the conscious and sovereign architect of your next experience.  Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the law.
