Underrated: Videogames Raise Consciousness

Some of my highest states of consciousness came from after watching a movie and playing a video game that got me introspective and hugging trees. I think it is underestimated how much the media affects your consciousness. The mass majority of media lowers it, but you can find some forms of media that actually increase it so much that you will start crying, hugging trees, and even have mystical experiences of profound oneness and love.

Some forms of media are like a psychedelic trip in itself. I remember playing Life Is Strange and as soon the game was over, I was in a consciousness state similar to that of when I was on 1g shrooms. Just overall very introspective, hugging trees, crying at the beauty of the connection of Existence/Consciousness itself.

Just wanted to share that there are other “unconventional” avenues to pursue consciousness. Meditation and contemplation is one way, and so is playing a scary first-person video game like Outlast for example. Certainly forms of media are really good for contemplation.

Leo’s videos are a perfect example of what I’m talking about: Media that actually raises your consciousness. Those videos can create such a radial shift in your consciousness in ways pure meditation can’t. Contemplation is key and there are many mediums that help you contemplate.
