@Mellowmarsh maybe it's my imagination, but since i spoke to you a few months ago, there seems to have been subtle shifts in the way you talk about these things. How do you view the topic of God realization these days ?

It’s not your imagination, you’re quite right, I do tend to flip flop about all over the place when I’m discussing these meta related subjects. It’s because the subject is so complex to put into words in its absolute simplicity. A contradiction of sorts really.

 

God realisation for me personally was something that was recognised instantly in a spontaneous moment of clarity that just seemed to happen very naturally for me. I grasped it from the age of 7 years old, that I was an eternal being and that I have always existed forever. I concluded this eternity as just “existence” itself. Pondering existence I just thought that if existence itself is here to be witnessed and that I am here as witness to existence, then this witnessing must have always been here forever, and could never have not been here, because it’s here without doubt or error. Existence is simply witnessed as existing. So for me, it was obviously self evident and could never have not been self evident. And so that’s what God means to me. It doesn’t matter what label is used to define God, because either no word defines or every word defines, it’s all the same existence existing as infinite difference.

(Yeah the no self purists can become a bit dry. I remember hearing from some that Presence and all that stuff is just a story. But these days there are many moments during the day where i feel this kind of an all encompassing magical presence all around. )

It’s actually the bliss that the sages talk about, it’s a bliss amid the noisy chaotic confusion of maya. Eternal Resting Light is behind all the ensuing chaos in the world of maya. Earlier today I felt to experiment, and listen to one of Leo's God realization videos again after a long time. It was very magical. Everything feels so similar now. Feeling love everywhere. I sometimes wonder why the radical nondualists hesitate to use the word God.

I think is was some religions that ruined the word “God” 

 

 No matter, it’s a divine word. I also enjoy watching Leo’s God videos. Thanks for sharing here, I will rewatch that one again later tonight.
