Centrist democrats helping Trump, can Progressives still defeat him?

While progressives are attempting to defeat Trump and Republicans for the 2026 and 2028 elections, a growing swath of centrist democrats are organizing to try and sabotage democrats to empower Trump.

Example:

Centrist Democrat streamer Hutch has come out against “vote blue no matter who” arguing that despite saying it in the past now progressives are weaponizing it to pressure centrist democrats to vote for progressives against republicans.

Centrist democrat streamer Destiny is also setting the stage to vote republican in 2028, arguing he hasn’t decided if it comes down to AOC vs Vance if he wouldn’t vote for Vance 

Democrat strategist and former Jill Biden  press secretary Michael LaRosa has said he will not support the Democrat nominee for senate in Michigan. Given Michigans critical importance this is defacto supporting Trump controlling the senate.

Note this is NOT just influencers, democrats in congress in particular are doing even more

Given all of this and its escalation, will progressives be able to stop Trump and the republican agenda despite centrist democrats working to save them?

Trumpism as a phenomenon ain’t going anywhere anytime soon. It transcends Trump himself.

Trumpism is rooted in epistemic pervertry that is corrupting the information ecosystem with shit, as the infamous Steve Bannon pointed: flood the zone with shit.

Progressives and leftist have prioritized fighting culture wars more than getting at the heart of epistemic corruption of political media. All this to say that centrism is not the answer either.

Talk to your friends and family and treat others with kindness as we go thru this dark age in politics. It’s what will ultimately see us to the other side.
