It's a good attitude to have. A lot of men get bitter that they have to fight an uphill battle to get women. I think women are quite desperate to have high quality partners in their lives, they just have a lot of negative consequences happen when they compromise on their standards and boundaries. 

When you say something dumb and a girl cringes, she was really hoping you wouldn't say that so she could sleep with you.
