how to improve further im stuck

i have a question with development if yall don't mind. after someone has basically knows everything about a field there is to know (for example martial art) and has learned the basics and everything how does one progress further into the unknown? transcending that and reaching new heights? whats yall take on these questions? appreciate it.

Well, just deeper contemplation and deeper not-knowing, and finding better sources and teachers can also do the trick.
