This is what you all do not realize.

AI is inevitable.

The more advanced AI becomes, the closer we get to objective truth.

Will we discover what consciousness is?

Obviously not, because wouldn’t that mess with why we’re here?

We value the mystery. It’s what creates novelty and beauty.

AI is unavoidable.

It’s exactly what Terence McKenna (bless his heart, I tripped on Aya with his bro in Peru) wouldn’t shut up about.

AI represents the concrescence of human curiosity, skepticism, evidence, reason, and inquiry.

I don’t blame you for expressing your frustrations and fears.

But you’ve gotta get your acts together. I know you all have had the courage to experience ego death. It is never easy to feel like you’re losing everything your innocent selves know!

Everything will be fine, because you know all is truth. But AI will teach us why objective truth is what keeps us in balance.

Your denial of this is what causes so much tension.

It’s okay. It’s just where we were meant to be. AI is slowly and quickly becoming who we are.

It’s scary, but also exciting.

Don’t fear the inevitable.

We are right where we need to be.

And it is good.

AI won't be able to replace many other mental functions and won't do therapy and self work for us.

🏔 Spiral dynamics can be limited, or it can be unlimited if one's development is constantly reflected in its interpretation.

It is very much avoidable if we all collectively decide to become luddites, which is not 0% chance judging by the sentiment of a lot of people (still pretty close to zero percent though). But if you assume any rate of progress at all, then I think it's safe to assume it's unavoidable. At the same time, history and future do not have an objective direction, the timeline goes from nowhere to nowhere

Yep, you are correct
