Careers in clinical mental health counseling

2 posts in this topic

Today I took a big step towards something that is very near and dear to my heart which is I applied to school for mental health (substance abuse primarily) counseling. I have watched Leo's video on "how to study...the keys to acing school and college" and wanted to get some more feedback from the forum. I welcome any criticism. I'm a recovering methamphetamine addict with only 30 days of sobriety but I've wanted to pursue college for years and just haven't put in the necessary effort. If anybody has expirence with this please reach out. Thanks for your time :)

@Kyle Gjerseth I don't have any advice on this. But congrats on your sobriety! 30 days isn't too long so I hope you stick to it for your own sake. Good luck on your sobriety aswell as applying to school for mental health. Hopefully your life will keep going in this positive direction. God bless.
