The supplements I take - based on blood tests for deficiency (the best supplement is the one you need to address a deficiency):

 - Vit D, Magnesium, K2

My own choice, because I feel a direct effect in joint health, performance and cognitive benefit:

 - Cod liver oil (not capsules, tastes like arse but you can tell when it is rancid) + 5g Creatine 

I don't trust greens powders, multivitamins and most supplements. They aren't regulated.

I hear supplements being pushed in any sort of media and I relegate it to 'grift'.
