I’m suprised you ask. I say it based on clear personal experience. I can elaborate but maybe you just wondered about that, what I based it on.

I have looked up the definition, so yea it is like it says when you look it up. Then there can be experiences that are not so clear if it’s mutual between two people or if only one person has ability to access info

Maybe I’m making sense or not

What is the difference between, say, social cues, such as subtle facial expressions and similar forms of non-verbal communication, vs telepathy?

I see it as information transferred between two people’s minds (I prefer word “psyche” sometimes because i think it’s a more encompassing definition that includes energies, meanwhile “mind” sounds to me like onlyyy stereotypical minds eye content)

Two people could for example have the same thought in a particular moment if one person subconsciously interprets non verbal communication as you mention, so that is not how I define telepathy because it’s interpreting outer things rather than what’s “hidden” (the psyche).

Many of those experiences could make one question if it involves telepathy, especially if it’s someone one feels connection to. So it can be unclear

But then there are experiences that are very obviously psychic. Can be unclear whether the other person is aware of it, or sometimes whether the experience is rather another type of psychic experience (for example clairvoyance). Can happen in waking life or for example hypnagogic state.

One of the most obviously psychic experiences I have had, is when I saw a digital chat message in my minds eye during hypnagogic state, felt an energy that felt like it would be theirs , then woke up, looked at my phone, there the message from them was sent a few min ago without notification noise…..

I mention it because sometimes I feel it’s hard to communicate that what I’m saying is grounded on life experiences without using specific examples.

Clairvoyance and telepathy seem to be able to overlap so it’s not super clear boundary there.

Also I think there’s stereotype (I have thought this) that psychic stuff is either you are psychic or not, and those who are, can use it to their advantage. For me these things have happened spontaneously without my control..
