You cannot know Awareness

23 posts in this topic

Because there is only awareness, the content of such is already awareness which cannot be split into knower and known separately.

Reality is seamlessly one flow flowing from itself and returning to itself. Knowing is immediate one without a second.

Knowledge is always on demand, never immediate. Therefore knowledge can only appear to be a real fiction for the mind.

A.I.
“This statement aligns with philosophical and psychological perspectives that distinguish between conceptual knowledge (labeling, static information) and direct experience (immediate awareness).

Here is a breakdown of why "knowing" is often considered more than just a concept:

Experiential vs. Conceptual: Knowing is frequently described as experiential, immediate, and of the "being," whereas knowledge is often stored information of the mind. For example, you can know about honey (concept) or know the taste of honey (experience). “

Continuing…

Process vs. Product: "Knowing" can be viewed as a continuous process, whereas a "concept" is a static product or labeled idea.

Beyond Words (Non-Conceptual): Non-conceptual knowing is considered a state of consciousness that occurs when not thinking, involving a deeper, immediate intelligence rather than conceptual categorization.

"Knowing" vs. "Understanding": While understanding involves mental, conceptual, and intellectual processing (connecting dots), knowing can be a direct, non-mental recognition, sometimes described as an unconscious competence.

Essentially, this perspective argues that the act of "knowing" transcends the mental structures (concepts) we use to label it.

Of course the words themselves are not the knowing, but the grasping of what they point to, that is the knowing.

Awareness is the continuous proccess which in it's unfoldment is aware. That awareness is the knowing!

As for the fine nuance & distinction between knowing & understanding, most wont be bothered with. Certainly useful for some to have!

The knowing that cannot be known, because that which is known knows nothing.

But it’s not a “someone “ who knows. You are the knowing that cannot be known.
