Realize what a negative person does to slow everyone down to conform to their own comfort-zone.  Listen to them, but don't let that energy cripple you too much.  For some reason, other peoples' success bothers these people because they need to feel like they're winning with what they got, always.

"It wasn't missing till someone started looking for it, and it's always found in the least expected places."

"When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, traps the back of your head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues... you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that:  "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Nice one!

Here's something light-hearted, just for fun :)

Quintessential Optimism vs. Pessimism

Optimistic:  "I love you from the very bottom of my heart."
Pessimistic:  "Dude, that's your perinium."

If you wanna survive better in this era, stay deluded. It's easier on the mind.

A good thing to contemplate is I can.  There is a lot in this.

I'd object, but, I can't while retaining my optimism.

Axioms of Optimism:  Moral Quandary Edition

Screenshot-2026-06-01-110750-removebg-pr

Friends,

Suppose there's a married couple.  One of them is a cheat in the bedroom.  The other is a cheat in the boardroom.  Suppose both parties are well aware of each other's faults.  IOW, they knew each other very well prior to the engagement.

Further, suppose that during the marriage one of them cheated in the bedroom.

? If cheating in the bedroom is condoned in this case, does that imply consent for cheating in the boardroom?  If so, is it in equal proportion or in perpetuity? Something in between?

Help a brother out.

Bonus points for including a link to an optimistic song.
