Western Livestreamers in China

This is a really cool trend that's been happening these last few years with livestreamers filming themselves exploring China

Ludwig is there right now and in one of the vlogs they accidentally talk their way into staying at a private middle school staff accommodation

It's a pretty cool example of cultural exchange and I think situations like this will help both hegemons make peace with each other through the integration of their people.

I'm moving to China in August. Not a livestreamer but do plan to have plenty of cultural exchanges and build an adventurous lifestyle there for the next few years.

Did a cultural/language exchange (and date) with a Korean woman yesterday and it was fun learning in real-time with her as we walked through Daegu. Meeting with a Korean guy today to do the same (minus the date).

It's actually quite enriching meeting real people over watching videos IMO. Teaching English abroad and local language exchange apps/events made these experiences easily accessible.
