Oblivion & The Conquest of Consciousness

Which seems no different than to say one, or the other. Or nothing at all.

This is where it gets tricky. real tricky.

First:

Infinity is not merely a measure of time. Nor is it a measurement of space/distance, or a quantity of objects. True Infinity is unbound. It cannot even be bound to itself because there is nothing there to bind to.

"Here I'll take these two nonexistent sheets of paper and I'll stick them together with this nonexistent glue"

Thats is like trying to ground Infinity into itself. It cannot be done. Infinity is groundlessness and so it cannot even support itself.

How are you gonna do this?

It is not there. There is nothing there to be doing.

Infinity, stood upon Infinity, will fall through for Infinity.

Second:

Eternity is defined as both time-unending & timelessness?

How can this be? Those appear to be opposite things.

Is it forever time or no time at all?

I feel that True Eternity goes beyond definition. True Eternity is part of this consciousness work right here.

Although I guess technically so too is Dora the Explorer.

Take of that what you wish.

See here the words are one thing. The knowledge is one thing. The basic understanding works.

But the actual recognition of this can be real frightening. Feels like Death. Right, because it is. You seem to fundamentally misunderstand your position in existence. You think you are some being running around trying to survive. Given the needle now set into this grove, you must maintain that structure. But you are not this being. This being exists, it appears, but this being is not what you are.

For this being now trying to survive, allowance of too far a departure from the structure of your ordinary waking experience becomes threatening to your entire existence.

Wouldn't want that right?

No, that is exactly what you want.

You want death. Where you feel fear of death go charge headfirst. Maybe you get it before it gets you? Who knows?

You must think very holistically. A holistic system. What really are you?

a Body, a Mind?

A collection of experiences?

Perceptions?

Colors, sensations, emotions?

Is any of this really you who perceives them?

Or is it the entire collection of all these that creates a sensation of you?

You look in the mirror,

Catch glimpse of your eyes,

A thought goes by

"oh yeah im in there somewhere"

This is it. You can see it in action as these day to day thoughts/emotions/experiences unfold. This is why you stay stuck. It is because you continue to reinforce the idea of selfhood through very subtle sneaky ways. Powerful ways you have seemingly little conscious control over.

Perhaps it is complete unconsciousness. Is survival unconscious? Is fear unconscious? What am I? Why do I experience fear?

Why is it the greatest fear of mine to cease being me? even if just for a moment or two?

"It is never a moment or two. Death is permanent. Remember, we must survive, death is permanent."

True Story or False Narrative?

How do you distinguish?

And what happens when you drop off the face of that frightful cliff?

slip right on down the slippery slope and off the brink of the precipice into what abyss now?

Is this permanent when this happens? It feels like it is about to be permanent and the fear response kicks in. I thought I had experienced it in my past, I always seem to end up back here.

Maybe there is just nothing to fear at all?

Go ahead and metaphorically leap right off the edge at full sprint, go for a dive and see what happens right?

Who knows where I'll end up?

Where is there to go?

Surely it feels the floor could give out from under and I may go for another fall. wouldnt want that.

or would I?

It was kind of fun. A thrilling kind of fun. Something Awesome and Terrifying at the same time.

What is even the difference between Awe and Terror?

Can anybody see a difference?
