The Term Spirituality is a door to many people

2 posts in this topic

A lot of people seems confused with the use of the term Spirit, Spirituality, Spiritual. I see in many comments online the use of it as it was mere a category of practice. People conflate Spirituality with practices or Spiritual New Age Content. Nobody suspects that the term points to the Truth of everything being Spirit.

For example, the reason that people generally  dont like to be objectified is because it goes againt the true Nature of Reality being Spirit and not Object.

A clear way to guide people on Understanding Reality would be using the confusion of the term Spirituality as a start to them question everything.

Of course that contemplation was ready made in the video What is Spirituality but I guess it could be made even better.

Let me give a little more context of what I mean by using one phenomena that we usualy see happening in politics

Is the " Saying the quiet part out loud"  that is a phrase used to describe the act of openly revealing a hidden agenda, unspoken truth, or secret intention that was supposed to remain unsaid. It often refers to a gaffe, indiscretion, or a moment of raw, unintentional honesty that exposes the underlying, often cynical, reality behind a polite or coded public statement.

Key Aspects of the Phrase:

Origin: The idiom is widely believed to have originated from a 1995 episode of The Simpsons ("A Star is Burns").

Context: It is frequently used in political or corporate contexts to highlight when someone accidentally reveals a selfish motive, such as "We want to make it harder for certain groups to vote," instead of using the coded language "We need to ensure election integrity".

Mechanism: It breaks the social contract of "polite" deception, bringing a "quiet" thought into the "loud" public sphere.

Examples:

Politics: A politician stating a desire that is usually kept hidden, such as admitting a policy is designed to help a specific group rather than the public at large.

Media/Workplace: A manager admitting that a promotion was based on personal friendship rather than merit.

Social Situations: A child bluntly pointing out a secret their parent was trying to hide, such as mentioning an unflattering truth about someone in public.

So in this line of thought Spirituality is being used superficialy by many that the deep meaning of it became a sort of quiet secret that anyone could see but dont see anymore.

Someone Speaking the Quiet part outloud would be someone spilling it ouloud.
