Less individuals, more expression. Anyone else?

6 posts in this topic

Last year I had two "breakthrough" shifts in my perception of reality within few weeks (Vipassana, no psychedelics). I learned that talking about unity, consciousness, no self, etc. hearing about it, discussing it and experiencing it are two very different things.

After the retreats, the transpersonal dimension in everyday interactions became so obvious I could not longer not see it. Crazy coincidences and synchronicities that become less and less coincidental or crazy because they happen so often, it becomes ordinary life.

Often, as I go through my day, it's like talking to my own subconscious. Recognizing my reflections in other's words and actions. Lately, also appreciating these reflections more and more. But it was not always like that.

At the beginning I was overwhelmed. Going through all the (bad) interpersonal stuff that ever happened and becoming aware how my new awarenesses recontextualizes EVERY SINGLE INTERACTION I EVER HAD. Took me about half a year and lots of difficult days to adjust living with this new found awareness.

Now I feel like I adjusted to "my new normal" of experiencing the world. So sometimes, I look at people and don't see as much individuals, but expressions of the same life energy. Like you see a tree now where you could only see the leaves before.

Sometimes I also feel like hints are dropped by the universal mind, statements that can be seen and understood very differently depending on the context. At other times, it's also blatant role switching without any ambiguity.

In any case, there's less and less external in my experience and more and more connection. Impossible to go back and see the world as I did for decades before.

Also, I wonder: WTF do I do now with this new normal? Is it really only "chop wood, carry water?" Just continuing my role?

No idea, but it feels like there's more fun to have in this reality...

What's the purpose behind this post?

For one, I just felt like writing it.

Second, curious if anyone can relate.

Third, have nice evening and don't forget to feed the cat.

Here are smart words that present my apparent identity but don't mean anything. At all.

Very good. Relatable. After you access (lets call it, "zero-point"), everything you experience after that is then seen / felt / understood in an entirely new way. An illuminated way. The new normal - The natural way. Seeing the oneness while appreciating and playing with the uniqueness.

You still chop wood and carry water, but you chop wood and carry water in a way that feels more like a play, a dance, a romance with self, instead of a chore, thus daily duties become blessings, and when life finally aligns as one effortless dance and there is no longer any resistance to what is, then that is mastery.

PS I fed my cat :)

Yes indeed wonderful. Salvation is the dropping of every grievance that was blocking the light. Most of us are wielding grievance every moment. Something is wrong here, there is someone bad present and I am suffering because of it. Grievance is my store-house of complaints ready to whip out and wield. It is about us and nothing to do with who we direct it to. Dropping grievance lets the light of true perception shine. Everything is flawless and so the one who sees is flawless too. Salvation is accomplished. What to do next is to implore ceaselessly: What would you have me do? Where would you have me go? What would you have me say? And proceed accordingly.

And thanks for the post I already have the idea of getting ANY resonance haha.

And yeah Iike your description, reality becomes more cooperative, more playful, more dancing.

Curious what will follow.

Also thanks for contributing.

Yes re less blocking and dropping, allowing instead.

I also like your "what's next".

Indeed it feels like first I have been trained (by life) and now I feel perfectly at the right place at the right time in the right state. With the right tasks, being perfectly competent and mature enough to master the challenges while also enjoying myself. Enough trust and confidence to move on and walk the path, but enough humbleness to stay grateful.

So why should it be any different once this current "quest" is done? Will go wherever I'm sent.

Once you have the peace that surpasses understanding then what happens here means nothing. Mission is accomplished. There is no going back. The body and mind cannot any longer help or advise. But love can still make plans and have goals and bid action. The work now becomes attuning to where grace guides.
