The ideological roots of the idea of 'toxic masculinity'.

So, the toxicity of feminism is not that recent. It's always been this bad. It's just surfacing now.

We do need to question the 'oppression' narrative too, that 'men are the oppressors'. If you have the courage to deconstruct this, do so.

I don't know what is your point in sharing this but I don't think you understand feminism if this is what you post about it. You can moralize the feelings of anger of some of the members of the moment but you categorize a movement fundamentally by it's aims and its accomplished goals. Every movement has some of its members that are more radical than others. Some red pillers hate women, some want to figure out their life and have never been a misogynist. Some feminists hate men and some just want equal rights. Remember that feminism is rooted in civil rights as in just human rights.

First wave feminism mostly focused on the right to vote and the right to own property. You know until 1974 women couldn't manage their own finances in the UNITED STATES without a male guarantor?

Quote

1974: This is the definitive year for U.S. financial equality. The Equal Credit Opportunity Act was passed, making it illegal for a bank to require a woman to have a male co-signer or to deny her an account based on her sex or marital status.

Where I agree that feminism philosophy goes array in its ideas of realities is blaming the average man for their oppression over history. Both genders have been and are oppressed and we see it until today where the most ruthless and competent of us become elites owning our money supply and some of them go as far as raping children. Some feminists agree with this characterization and some say that the average man in history has been a co conspirator and been sold a wife for his participation in the labor system and given the ability to own her and oppress her as his reward. That's a bit more nuanced and hard to prove or falsify.

To loop back to toxic masculinity there is definitely such a thing when it gets rooted in empty materialism or power through violence. The human species as a whole is looking for identity in our history and it's a quest that continues toward with us now having to fight for our place in the economic world against(with?) AI.
