And then, what?

9 posts in this topic

I've been seeking some ephemeral notion of a truth for as long as I can remember. But all I have observed is the changing, adjustment and recalibration of an amorphous truth. Even when truth smacked me in the face, another re-framing question arose, just in a different guise and the search continued, alas.

Let's imagine that one day we get there and all the truth is laid bare in front of us; what do you think we'll do 'next'? Will that be the day we/i/me disappears back into the nothing, or will it just be the beginning of a new process to repeat this cycle of forgetting, new beginning, discovering, searching and finding?

For that which is truth, there's no linear path to it, all that is possible are cycles, like the changing of seasons; the waning and waxing of the moon; and the coming and go of tides.

Then why does 'IT' do it?

This question is a bit of a trap, because there's no 'IT', or even an 'it'; then who's the one on this journey? Whose footprints can I see when I glance back in the field of soft snow under this dark wintery sky?

It probably has been said that: True power is not control over the external world; it is sovereignty over your internal world, and when you realise there's no one home, then the quest begins...

Yeah .there is no magical end all be all insight that will resolve everything forever. That's the wrong expectation .it's an endless journey that started nowhere and will extend forever.

The hilarious thing is you are already it. Everything is already it .you can't get Everything. You are already Everything.

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

I'm on board :D

But seriously, every perspective appears to be correct from that vantage point. When all perspectives are taken into consideration, then nothing is left, like mixed colours fading into white, or in inverse  throwing white light at a prism and seeing colours analogous to this post.

Thanks :)

Truth is always in the present. So it's not what you will do as a separate notion from the present, it's:

"Truth has opened me to my being, a position of x. What comes next is action(s), that always contribute further to the expression of my being. These expressions will always be in my present, and in the now that I share with others."

This is why through truth we are able to live, and without truth we can only imagine.

Maybe this will help, maybe not. A little over a decade ago I had dissolved, i was no-one / no-thing, until i had to eventually come back into my body and re-learn / re-live everything in a new way. Now everything i see / notice comes with a greater level of understanding from that single point of eternity.

What will / do i do now? I live, fully, whatever i am doing, i do it with fullness of my being to the best of my ability, to each and every moment, and i have realized the truth i touched upon is a blessing if it is applied and shared, and becomes medicine and poison if not applied and withheld.

So now its all about being in alignment and truly present what what is, unique to each and every moment. Wherever you are, be there fully.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance ~ of a unified mystery...
