The root cause of all my past failure

1 post in this topic

Hey friends,

Hope this post may find some relevance in any of your lives and bring about an ahha moment.

So I met my ex boss in a company I was working today he is now a GM of a world class pharma machine manufacturing company.

As I asked him if there was any vacancy in his company he told me bluntly that he had already taken 2 people (from my company for this region) and they were enough to handle the services.

He has taken another 4 people from my own team at another location. This stirred up strong emotions in me, but at the same time showed me the root cause of all my failure.

Why would he no want to hire me even after I have been working for 10 years now ? Obviously because he doesn't think I'm good enough and able to provide the value to his organisation.

Because I haven't focused on developing the 'me' brand.

I haven't focused on developing my skills.

I haven't focused.

As I contemplated back towards my past failures the root cause was the same, lack of focus.

I hadn't focus on studying in engineering was was busy chasing girls and bad habits like smoking so it took me 2 years more of my life to start working.

I haven't been healthy because I haven't focused on the food I put in my stomach nor on exercise.

Focus clubbed with consistency is the corrective action which can solve all problems.

I am now committed to improving my focus skill by being mindful and remembering to focus on every task I do.

Meditation, kriya yoga, exercise, affirmations and subliminals will be only the formal exercise, the goal is to focus on day to day conversations and Interactions with others to focus on the job I'm doing. Since I don't know how long it will take to publish my book (or if I find any other medium in the course of time) I will continue working on my job.

I will focus on being a world class manager too.

Focus clubbed with consistency is my new mantra.

I love being focused.

I love being consistent.

I love being confident.
