Scientific success is very convincing

After you watch a video like this that explains the mind boggling things our scientists manage to achieve, you get bought into science and rationality very quickly. They are insanely good att measuring stuff, experimenting with "objective" stuff that can be measured easily. It is amazing to me how good they are in these kind of stuff, but how pathetic scientists can be in the things that CANNOT be measured and played around with in lab experiments.

How the hell can they be so good at these stuff but fail miserably at for example nutrition science, sociology, spirituality, consciousness, or anything that includes variables that cannot be properly measured and "objectively" observed...

You watch this and say WOW!! Then you see the dark side of science and scientific method. Pathetic studies about "how bad some fruits are for you" just so that later a new study shows the opposite. Or how some studies and scientists are pushed aside because they rock the boat too much. Why don't they take Simon Baron-Cohen seriously? We cannot understand the two sexes, even if we have advanced shit that can isolate the variables that shows us how men and women have different brains and have different needs in different situations in general. This is the nuts part of the science world.

And the things that they suck at are the things we actually need to improve in order to have a more happy society. Yeah we have 3nm chips in our phones just to scroll Tiktok and play games and watch porn.
