I did not intend what I said to be taken that way.  No problem.

We were having a conversation and then you told me: you can't understand it if you are not awake. Just trying to explain that this is not the way to having a conversation about this topic. Anyway, a pleasure (until the wild card)

What I said is that the I Am is not going to mean much without Self-realization.

I understood that you imply that you had that realization and me not. We already know that dynamic here is this forum right? Spiritual narcissism. If I misunderstood, sorry

Okay.  Then I am glad I had this conversation with you because you don't understand what I am pointing to yet.

It was shown to me on psychedelics.  Shankara does a good job pointing to it in words, but even that has limitations IMO.  The Self has to be experienced for it to go beyond words.  Words turn into thoughts and beliefs and doctrine which can only point to the Self.

The self is always being experienced. Now I'm experiencing it, it's the fact of knowing that I am. This fact can take many forms, but always is the same. When it's empty of form, it's open, and it's manifestation is what advaita calls sat chit Ananda. The pure consciousness of being that is absolute joy because nothing limits it.

But the self is always realtive. I am. I/am. Without I, there is no self, self needs two. Even they are one, they appear as two.
