Metapoint on Rationalism

Watching @Leo Gura's most recent video series on the Rational mind and reading through the comments, something of a meta-point became clear;

the rational mind conflates clarity with truth; the post-rational mind senses the underlying Telos even in the absence of clarity.

It is for this reason that Leo uses enumeration and explicit exhaustive lists and examples which appeals to the rational mind's requirement for clarity to begin the process of informational metabolism. In this absorbtion occurs the conflation with truth; wherein the explicitness of the message itself obscures the meta-point that Leo is making; that you must intuit what is being pointed to without the cognitive scaffholding of enumeration and exhaustive clarity.

The exhausting clarity is good and necessary even for the intuitive because otherwise your understanding will be too murky.

The value of the series is not to vaguely intuit that rationalism is wrong, but to clearly, techncially see why it is wrong.

A New Ager can intuit the main point of the series but the New Ager will not have the sharpness and depth of understanding that comes with knowing all the details of the series.

This technical clarity is also important to be able to argue and push back on rationalists once they start spitting their logic at you.

Thanks for that Leo. It is genuinely astonishing the level of precision with which you explicate your ideas and the reasoning behind the exact style of delivery. I can only laugh, because just when you think you've got it, Leo is operating at genuinely alien levels of intelligence and has already assimilated, accounted for, and recontextualized your comprehension into a higher order perspective. Love ya Leo, I really appreciate the series.
