Any tips for honing in a life purpose again after losing it?

2 posts in this topic

I feel like I had a life purpose for a while. I really wanted to travel the world and I did that for many years now. I learned SO much. I experienced SO much. Not only through travel but through a number of (20+) psychedelic journeys. I feel like internally I'm fine. I don't experience depression anymore. I don't get angry. I have complete control over my emotional regulation and for the most part I am "content" with my life. I live life unbothered as I watch everyone else chained to their emotions and thoughts.

Despite all of this, I feel like I'm back at a place where I'm not sure what I even want to do anymore. I love tech stuff, reading about AI advancements, art, film, nature, the mind, exploring the inner world, it's all quite fascinating to me. I dabble in all of it but I can't really hone in on one thing. I feel scattered. I just drive around doing food deliveries now and doing part-time gig work for money, which completely drains me of my time and creativity.

I know that meditation definitely helps, which I regrettably haven't been doing much of recently. How do a redefine my life again? Redefine my purpose? Travel is great and all but I feel like that chapter of my life is reaching an end.

It is hard to earn good money from a wow profession that will keep you floored with passion and enthusiasm all the time, especially in this fucked up economy where a few winners dominate the markets. You can find some job that you like doing and gives you enough money without spending lots of time at work, and in this way you'll have time for side projects that might grow into something. Or use that time for growing yourself, it is fine to not "kill it" in business and to find a way to just live life happily and grow yourself. If you live in a poor country without a welfare state then you need to find a way out if wage slavery unfortunately, in countries like the US or third world (same thing), you have no choice, you need to kill it in business, otherwise you'll be a wage slave your whole life.
