The Brotherhood of Satan

[Lord of Darkness]

I've watched recently the movie "brotherhood of satan"

And its a gem i missed in cinematography. First impression is how much more sophisticated were actor's lines, Choice of language and delivery in comparison to many modern productions for example "300spartans rise of the empire" was so poor linguistically that it sounded almost like a chewing gum advertisemnt. 

 

final verdict: 8/10 – Underrated oracle

Uuuuh... Cringe title. 

Brotherhood means kindness, compassion, love and unity. Those are the qualities of Truth not of darkness. If satanists were to embody brotherhood, they'd cease to be satanists and would become light workers. Unknowingly they'd be moving closer towards the Truth that unites us all, which is Love, which is Christ conciousness.

But... i couldn't help myself, but being so the point its just the movie title and I wanted to ask for opinions for example ambigiuous ending of it, whats the meaning and maybe even more broadly social commentary of its relavence today?

@SalvijusWhat you think God is is Satan. Christians are lying. Satan loves an accepts everyone. What Christian God is ,is Satan hes not accepting. You dont have to be good God loves you. Satan worshippers are worshipping God.

Hinduism is 'satan' worship.

If you died and went to hell and expect torture you will be welcome with open loving arms and they will say we dont judge you here. And you realize hell is actually heaven.

If God kicked you alone out of his kingdom you would love everything God sent you.

I'm not against the left hand path with done properly. Embracing your repressed shadows/desires does lead to grater light, wisdom, freedom and transformation. Left hand path leads to christhood in the end. But somehow I have a problem with the way westerns are practicing it. It seems like they are rebelling against light and wisdom and are trying to endorse their bs instead. Same way nonduality has many traps that people can fall into, it seems that the left hand path has traps aswell. And so does the right hand path probably. Traps everywhere.

Well the movie was done about occult cult in the midst of satanic panic in 70s 

Which to me is a broader cultural commentary of some dark themes exploration of how evil works its way. 

So the movie title was probably marketing smart and just said with acuracy of what the movie was all about. Still you coud say "it wasn't the brightest choice" and I would agree to that.

In Hinduism they have Kali worship and Aghori ascetics. And I don't know if they worship satan, but surely remind themselves of cruelty and impermanence of life.

A techno party can be hell to a monk, a monastery can be hell to social butterfly.

Heaven can get stagnant. Hell offers brute meritocracy. Take thy pick...

I chose Truth, I chose Wisdom, I chose Freedom, I chose Grace. Idk if you can call it a choice even once you realize that only these things have value.

@SalvijusThey are, they are being tricked. If you close your eyes and meditate in the west people will say you are doing satan worship. If you listen to this this is devil worship. They are tricked into thinking God is actually satan the persecutor.

God is unconditionally loving, who would be unconditionally loving if God is the persecutor? The answer is satan cause he has no choice.

If satan stands for unconditional love for you, then what you call a satanists is what I call a saint, and we are on the same page 👍
