Self-questioning is the key .

3 posts in this topic

I have discovered that after a few years of questioning oneself that it is the root of most self-improvement if not all.

Even therapy utilises questioning to alleviate mental illness.

Developing resilience too requires ourselves to unearth our initial thoughts, beliefs and assumptions about a certain situation.

@Leo Gura correctly said that one's question determine the quality of one's life.

But we are so blind to this depth of growth reached when one consistently questions oneself. I don't mean to be in the state of analysis paralysis but rather questioning oneself and still taking action.

If one develops this habit then life becomes more beautiful as it embarks a person on a series of surprises and well as primes the brain to function optimally.

Thank you.

Since everything is the Self, all questioning is self-questioning.

So just deep questioning is the key.

@Leo Gura Yeah your episodes-  Assumption is the mother of all ----- ups and The power of asking questions mafe me questions my thoughts when I was desperately chasing happiness which made me unhappy.

But now a these days my happiness is more than that of my past even though I still feel negative emotions sometimes which is normal.

Yesterday I remember that my mind was creating imaginary scenarios from based on negative events of the past but when I questioned them then they disappeared from my mind and my reactivity , anger dissipated.

@Leo Gura Even though your work is in the spiritual domain why do I feel that what you say is mostly similar to Mark Manson. Such as counterintuitive nature of life etc.
