Confront Negative Emotions to Develop Yourself Energetically

Both the "negative" and "positive" energies are ENERGY. And lower energies like fear, shame, guilt, jealousy, insecurity, powerlessness are precisely the fuel for higher energies. The lower energy must be FELT and TRANSMUTED into higher energy in a constructive manner. There is no way around this. If you want the goodies, you have to transmute them from the baddies.

Why does it often happen that a person who suddenly learns they're terminally ill turns their life around completely? And then even overcomes their illness? Because energetically a very large amount of fear is processed at once. And the energy that then becomes available is often funneled into higher energies which wanted to be expressed before, but no fuel was there. And due to expression of higher energies being healing, the person has the potential the recover.

The problem is that we resist the "negative". We don't want to feel it. Sometimes the circumstances must literally break us for us to feel the difficult whether we want it or not, and from there energy can develop.

Here are other examples of energetic development being stale due to not confronting difficult emotions:

  • In a relationship: Resisting the guilt of hurtful action, the denial of being hurt oneself, the fear of the life without the person
  • In career/work: Resisting the fear of being fired or having skills replaced with AI, the insecurity regarding your value and skills, the guilt of being lazy and fucking your company over
  • In personal life: Resisting the disgust with yourself about being fat, the shame regarding not living up to your potential, the fear of your health being fucked in the future because of no exercise or bad food habits
  • Etc.

Let's take the example of resisting the fear of having your skills replaced with AI (if it's reasonable for you). You deny the possibility, you don't think about it much, you avoid the topic. So HOW would the energy to grit your teeth and work hard on a new set of skills arise in you? It wouldn't! What's needed is a confronting of reality and the arising of deep fear in this situation. Then, when the fear is faced, a constructive plan can be created and work on it can begin. The energy in this work was technically started by fear, BUT once you faced it, you can look at it and feel that energy in a transformed way - for example, a focus on personal responsibility, power, overcoming of odds, will, focus, education, being in the flow, determination. And THAT'S how you get to that energy.

So to conclude: If you feel energyless, if you feel you're not doing anything worthwhile, if you need some MOTIVATION to act in life, then face the difficult emotions (fear, shame, guilt, etc.) and you WILL get the energy. Apply it to the specific circumstances YOU are experiencing. Face YOUR difficult truths. And from this you will be able to proceed. :)

@Sincerity Accepting negative emotions are the key to emotional regulation and living a happy life.I have learned this the hard way. Earlier I used to number my negative emotions by thinking positive but when I started accepting them, my suffering reduced.
