One thing i find about Russia so far is that it's a very clean country. Not too much litter on the streets. It's breathtakingly clean in some areas.

I'm pretty much doing this documentary journal for my own use and purpose because i've been watching a lot about Russia lately and learning about the insides of the country other than the political sides and decided to document some finds. I've watched all these videos and will continue to delve into Russia a bit until it wears itself out.

Russian's population is approx 143.5mil people.

Russia's population is decreasing, with birth rates at a 200-year low and an overall decline exacerbated by emigration, increased mortality from the war in Ukraine and the Covid-19 pandemic and aging demographics. Projections indicate the population could decline significantly this century, falling from around 145mil to about 120mil by 2100.

Russia's male-female ratio is skewed, with approx. 87 men per 100 women in the population; meaning, women significantly outnumber men. This imbalance is a long-standing issue exacerbated by factors like higher male mortality, but has become Even more pronounced due to more than 120,000 Russian men killed in the war against Ukraine since February 2022.

How many Jews are in Russia?

(AI overview)

The Jewish population in Russia was 83,000 according to the 2021 census, a significant decline from previous years, and has likely fallen further since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022 due to an exodus of Jewish people. Other estimates suggest slightly different numbers for the 2021 population or for other time frames, such as 155,000 in 2020, but all indicate a long-term downward trend.

Slavic peoples are from Eastern Europe and parts of Central Asia with a long history of migration and settlement across the continent. Their origins are traced to Indo-European lands, and they are traditionally divided into three main groups: East Slavs (Russians, Ukrainians, Belarusians) West Slavs (Poles Czechs, Slovaks) and South Slavs (Serbs, Croats, Bulgarians, etc).
