Interesting choice. Obviously Trump didn’t get it, but that was to be expected.

I don’t know much about Maria Machado though. On one hand, sticking up for political rights against any autocratic government takes bravery. On the other hand, she’s a Trumpist and seems to be a simp for US hegemonic military power. Odd choice I guess.
