I was badly addicted to weed like the habit did not gel with social housing or work expectations or with the law or housemates and yet I was totally hooked like I'd want to self destruct if I got close to empty on weed

Precisely why I don't do it daily anymore.

I no longer choose an intoxicated state vs. a  sober one.

I love both.

To judge which state is better is ego.

I’m taking a weak week off to process all the amazing insights I’ve experienced this past week.

🌿 Balancing Radical States and Daily Life

There are times when my mind drifts into these radical states—expansive, overwhelming, and filled with infinite imagination. In those moments, the ordinary world seems to dissolve, and what remains is nothing but God’s beauty, vast and uncontainable. It's as though nothing is truly happening except this boundless expression of Wonder.

🌞 The Grounding Joy of Everyday Things

And yet, I still cherish the grounding practices of everyday life: going to social events, taking a shower, stepping outside into the fresh air. These moments remind me of my humanness. They keep me tethered to the sweetness of connection, ritual, and simple pleasures. They matter deeply, even when my mind insists that it doesn't even matter.

⚖️ Harmony Between Dualities

What I’m discovering is that neither side needs to dominate the other. Both are essential: the radical states of infinite imagination and beauty, and the gentle rhythm of ordinary life. My path is not to choose one over the other, but to welcome both as expressions of Love.

💖 Living the Balance

Balance, to me, is not a compromise—it is an embrace. It is the joy of surrendering to Infinity while also savoring the warmth of a cuddle, a conversation with a friend, or a walk in the park.

It’s so blatantly obvious: we are in love.
We know it. We feel it.

And yet, survival strategies pull us into calling it something else.
We tone it down, disguise it..
not because the love is less,
but because the world can’t hold it in its full truth.

It feels like lying sometimes,
as if we’re betraying the depth of what we are.
But maybe it isn’t a lie.
Maybe it’s a translation.
A way of filtering Infinity
into a language that won’t blow everything up.

The trap is mistaking the strategy for the truth.
Truth is Love.
The strategy is “friendship.”
Both are real.
Both serve a purpose.

I remind myself:
love doesn’t disappear because the label shifts.
Truth doesn’t evaporate
just because we’re playing it safer on the outside.
The love is here, alive,
even when the world needs us to call it something else.
