The Brahmakumaris consider the Shivalingam to denote God as a point of light.

Another name of the Shivalingam means 'Jyotirlingam' with lingam meaning mark/emblem and  'Jyoti' in sanskrit meaning 'light.' 

Jyotirlingam thus means 'mark  of light'.
