Must find your why, have to find your why

According to AI, If lets say your facial attractiveness is a 7.2 baseline (without skincare, good haircut, grooming ect..) just in its lazy state 

Then (Within literally 1 week!) alochol and smoking will drop your face from 7.2 to 6.5-6.75 

within 1-6 months, it will drop your face to 5.25 - 5.75 

Thats a huge fucking difference 

If you dont care about your looks I respect that peace but personally I don't like acknowledging that I'm doing this to myself

And that's just purely factoring the effect form the alcohol/smoking, not even considering if you're doing that then it cascades into way more junk food, inflamation in general, possibly you'll get fat, at this point you could be a 4-5/10 within a year, thats a massive glow down

The negative compounding is actually higher if you think about it because 

If you don't smoke/drink, then you're now free to get into the self care paradigm - from this you can genuinely go from a 7.2 to a 8, then add physique maxing and aura maxing / dominant eye contact ect.. you're literally at a 8-9/10 overall 

So it's also the opportunity cost of not maxing yourself 

Like every time you gamble you're not only losing money you're not spending time building a business that compounds, it's a double edged cost, this why "small actions" like throwing the pack of mini cigars away can have such a profound impact 

The only reassuring thing about smoking is that according to AI, it has a very neglible (0.2 points) effect on looks if very short term, like if smoked moderate amount this week but you're not a smoker normally, but over months it has significant looks loss of 1-1.5 points 

Alcohol however has a stronger inmediate glow down of the face, such that if you attended a wedding and drunk that week despite being otherwise healthy specimen long term, you would instantly have a 0.5-1 point reduction in looks 

So Alcohol I'm going to permanently avoid, with excpetion of maybe a seductive glass of wine 

obviously this "inmediate glow down" from alcohol is unlikely if it's literally 1-2 glass of wine this week, obviously, but how most people even with their shit together drink their essentially 0.5 points at least less sexy than they could be automatically

And I didn't even mention the glowdown from alcohol and smoking on physique, and the sensory glowdown from smelling like burnt wood, having dry af hands, and also the phyqisue takes a hit and if you dont have elite physqiue genetics then you're really capping yourself with gym, may not even be motivated to go train anymore 

And then the impact it all has on your teeth, and your brain from the worse sleep

Then all the time you dont spend learning that language (or any meaningful cognitively demanding hobby), and because you didn't learn that language you now have less confidence and pride approaching those sexy exotic girls you wanted, because you were drunk or hungover or wokeup too late and couldn't study

The reality is most people do inituively understand all this and don't have a 75 IQ, like it's normally trauma, insecurity, stress, regret ect.. that is the underlying cause of the symptoms of smoking, smoking is a "lesser evil" way to cope with real pain, because at least it's not heroin, 

Still it is useful to find your why and zoom into the vivid effects & consequences, for me at least, maybe not if you got severe trauma, need a more root solution, i mean stress cuased me to get into it, but my stress coping is outweighed by my vanity, and im self aware enought o acknlowedge that it only increases stress anyway, at least in the mid-long term

People make fun of "looksmaxing" because they conjure an image of a (homoerotic), vain, annoying effeminate Zoolander pretty boy, and this is understandable. 

Thing is, "Looksmaxing" actually doesn't take that much effort, once you know what to do it becomes like brushing your teeth. If you're ugly I'd say just compensate in other ways and aura max. 

But if you're genetic base (or lets say base when u just barely try and live like a normie, low quality food ect..) If it is a 6 - 6.75, (so assuming good eyes bone structure ect..) then once you remove the toxicity AND add the self care stuff AND add the aura stuff, you can literally go from like a 6.4 to a 8.3 in a couple months .. then if you add the gym body, overall could go from like a 6.5 to a 8.5-9 literally in months. 

There's millions of men who are walking around as 6-6.75 rating and they could be an 8 

Another thing people often don't mention is that there is an inseparable merging of looks and aura/vibe 

When you have passion, purpose, intensity, drive, hunger, sexual intensity ect.. it shows in your face, it literally makes your face more visually striking,   

So when you look at how many factors there are, its remarkable how much men can glow up or down in life, because even without considering looks you can already glow up like 1000% with wealth, lifestyle, education, confidence, experience, status, competence ect.. Then there's diet style clothing grooming haircut skin care gym physique, tan, then there's mood purpose passion intensity, even education could be a glow up because with a larger vocabulary you have faster wit in conversation with women, or if you increase your pattern recognition ability or observation ability, or merely remove all the underlying negative emotions that to block your natural intelligence and charm arises

It was both positive and negative motivation, but within the initial moment of realization, it most definitely was fear/anxiety/regret/negative projection that ultimately got me to say "hmm this I need to stop" to even look into the positive benefits of change and glowing up, and for example the fear of glowing down even further from where I am, dropping to a 6/10 then a 5.5 ect.. 

So yeah ... Use both but the negative is often the initial mental catalyst, perhaps always so.

1. Initial Catalyst = Vivid negative emotion/fear/regret ect..

Probably exactly 24H since I have last smoked 

I managed to distract myself being busy all day, did like a 3 hour workout this evening just to forget about it and it worked

But I get back, 24H are over now, I'm home, I see some stars outside, I see a chair inclined towards the stars, and I see myself smoking, looking at the stars, thinking, brain and bloodstream sped up from the nicotine, creative ideas flowing to me, and a nice way to cope and feel a little sorry for myself for 5 minutes as I regret the majority of my life. 

The craving is quite brutal, and it makes sense that the brutal cravings tend to be 24 - 72H or something 

I really want to fucking smoke (especially smoke and drink one together) 

I'm very very tempted (You've been busy all day, just have 1 beer and 1 mini cigar now, it's just one it's fine) 

1 beer and 1 cigar doesn't ruin your life, but committing to something, then backtracking and breaking my own self trust, that's why I can't do it. Just the fact that I decided I wouldn't, and I know it will probably end up as more than 1 anyway

Withdrawals are hitting me and I can't sleep, I wouldn't say it's super dramatic like I'm not in ... well its pretty nasty actually but again I'm not a bitch like it's FINE but the issue is i have a fucking career to build so i dont want to have 4 hours sleep and a dysfunctional brain 

I'm fine with the withdrawals but it may even help my career to have 1 beer and 1 little cigar just 1 

Because who's to say cold turkey is often the most optimal anyway?

Ah i do not want to fold and I am strong enough to not fold, the issue isn't weakness

It's that the stress of thinkng about it and being in withdrawal and then not sleeping might cause more problems (and possibly a harder rebound when i get so pissed and realize my business is just not going anywhere) so im trying to weigh the trade offs & 2/3rd order consequneces intituively and im thinking 1 smoke, small drink per night might be ok to taper off then on weekend I can go full sobreity and just deal with it 

Or maybe I need a middle ground, maybe 1 beer and No smoke per night, or 1 smoke and no beer

And I can confirm that masturbation or sex does nothing to ease the pain of nicotine withdrawal, it is literally as addictive as heroin, it's a visceral physical addiction, both physiological and psychosomatic.

I can deal with it but I also have responsibilities and being slep deprived will not help with those at all 

I do not think cold turkey is a logical choice for hard addictions (Unless you have Zero responsabilities and can deal with days of insomnia and dysfunction)

I did't smoke or drink and I slept 5 Hours. 

Better to hold integrity tbh, have to see beyond the immediate 

Have to get past the 72H mark so that the first major battle is won

I wake up to sunlightl and cravings are much less, partly just because theres stuff to do in the morning so you can't idle around, it's the idle hands that do the devils work and pull you into an unhealthy cope. 

*Hmm no let me be real the withdrawal is real because tere is an enudring fatigue and fog

There is a continous fatigue fog and lower libido, even after drinking caffiene 

According to AI, full recovery takes 3-4 weeks in order to produce dopamine without the nicotine hit 

And no, nicotine gums or pouches do not work in my experience

1. Completely different absorption method and way too weak 

2. Different chemical composition, causes other weird side effects like headache, just doesn't give me any energy or mental boost either

3. Even if it did work a bit, you're just prolonging the dependence so it's stupid 

Full recovery > 3-4 weeks

Dopamine depletion is real but it's not just the addiction, I already had stuff to deal with internally and it's all piling up now, I also still have a lot of pressure and stress, and I have deep regrets i'm dealing with

Smoking in public is rather gross and i'd rather not but

Honestly the only reason I quit, at least the night time session is for my looks

It's not the only reason, just the most gripping one. 

Being a smoker actually impacts sleep quality, architecture ect.. I can't afford to damage that regularly.

I must admit, the night time cigar stargazing will come back at some point, just not as a habit. 

Just a vice i'll introduce maybe once a month, when I can trust myself, and not using it to deal with pain. 

I believe vices are fine when they are - Ritualistic, not habitual .. and Celebratory (or reflective), not Pitiful
