Dughin And The Battle For Eastern Europe

What would be the chances that Aleksandr Dughin who is Putin's Goebbels would be able to democratically take back under the Russian sphere of influence the former countries of the Warsaw Pact? If Dughin would want to accomplish that, how would he execute such a plan to sway the population of a country like Romania or Poland to vote in elections for Russian torjan horses on their own volition? How would the trojan horse's discourse sound like to convince the citizenry to view the EU and NATO in negative ways, and what role would accomplish the alternative media in order to ensure that Dughin's plan succeeds?

If Putin has a brain, then Dugin is probably just a puppet to lure weak-minded people into his ideological paradigm, but not the other way around.

This forum emphasizes "sophisticated" and "deep" thinking way too much, you don't need that for politics to be effective. Dugin's tactics are working on millions of people across Europe and North America.

Of course, It's what i regularly say; a simple reasoning can be relevant, and a complexe one pointless.

Dugin is just not a relevant thinker, it's essentially a nationalist fable teller.

Trotsky is a way more interesting russian thinker to read.

@Schizophonia You are dangerously underestimating Dughin! Look at the political landscape across Europe! AFD which is Dughin's creation is leading the polls, in Poland the same, Romania the same! All the right wing parties that reign chaos across Europe are tailored down to the finest of details acording to Dughin! I've read the self description of the party in Romania that does Putin's bidding and I was shocked to realize that it is a copycat of Dughin's work but adapted to Romania's situation! I think Dughin is behind all the chaos that is unfolding in the world

I think this will ultimately be predicated upon these 2 factors:

1. The kind of breeding ground each particuliar country has for these reactionary, post modernism twisting ideas, (each individual breeding ground consisting of common denominator national traits such as the ammount of ignorance, selfishness and the historical self awareness of each country)

2. Success of Russia on the world stage, both projected and a real one - seeing as there is no actual ideology behind these ideas (as opposed to what Goebbels was trying to do, which was very ideological and focused internally) and they adapt to each individual country, their only goal is successfull Russia, then by that logic success of Russia is also a neccesary component for the emotional impactfullness of these ideas

In my opinion, even in the worst case scenarios (which is, for example, disintegration of the EU as a result of brainwashing effects of these ideas), Russians wouldn't be able to capitalize on these advantage, because they are a weak country and their only strength is nukes, which they cannot really use. And there are countries that are never going to get brainwashed by these ideas, ever, because of the threat Russia posses to them.
