Trans people are very brave and it must be super difficult to have such a fundamental aspect of yourself being set apart from how society says it should be.

But, as with any movement of society in the right direction, its gone a bit far and become a trend in society for loads of people. Lots of people use it as a medium to express their mental illness. This might be seen as emotionally insensitive and yet, it is true as an actual phenomenal occurrence.

The idea that mental illness is found more in LGBTQ+ people because they are oppressed is just horse shit. For this to be true it would also need to be true that we somehow accept LGBTQ+ people less than how we did 50 years ago. They ain't oppressed now and they still have way more mental illness. this doesn't discount from people who have natural inclinations and legit situations (and there appear to be quite a few), but it's just trying to identify what is natural and what is unnatural.

I mean sure, homosexuality exists in nature...but so does rape, doesn't mean it's good

This information shouldn't be used to bash LGBTQ+ people.

Here's an unpopular and uncomfortable truth: homosexuality can cause serious mental illness and can be brought on by overconsumption of pornography or drugs.

Rarely will you get someone willing to be so direct as me on this topic, and unlike a lot of Christian ideologues, I say this because it is an actual phenomenea, not because some holy book has triggered me emotionally.

(Ps: I sense that some of this info is probably riddled with uncalibration, you'll have to forgive, but also you can see through it too observe the legit points I'm making).
