I think a fundamental question at the bottom of my inquiries is "How can anything become more than it previously is?" which is basically a question of growth and change, of becoming and also of a change in identity, like the ship of Theseus, but what it really hints at is a qualitative expansion of (the conscious experience of) a beingness, which is a question of how novelty can be introduced into something that has previously assumed itself to be complete and more so how there could have existed a barrier of unknowing or what such distinction would constitute or be made of. Intentioned growth must project a self outward that is beyond its current capacities, such has first to be imagined, an internal aspiration to be constructed to then externally align into. This is easier said than explained, when one simply abstracts the origins of such a projection into imagination, whose description is self referential and omitted, capacity unknown, origins mysterious, appearance undefinable, dynamics ineffable, especially from a bio-materialistic perspective, the alignment of internal simulation would have to first take place from within limited structural confines to build its interiority up into a higher order simulation to then exteriorize, and the means of the interiority to arise being abstracted into survivalist evolution, completely dodging the question of how conscious animate life arose to generate and morph form, differentiate and become, morphologies are explained in relations but not how survival instincts and their qualia understanding emerged alongside infinite other sensation in direct felt expression beyond a retroactively constructed contextual myth to merely point at selection and mutation but not at how addition or subtraction of genes interfaces with felt existence, qualia and meaning expression beyond foldable mechanical robots with blinking lights wired to adjust their movements to cues.

Biology is often explained within its own paradigm of contextual external reality, however any and all that can ever be known of it is always by necessity a conscious experience, as such, this projected interface or base reality we may call it, is the necessary framework lens through which any understanding is essentially filtered. Therefore, understanding the disembodied conscious experience in and of itself within its own paradigm as the means by which qualia self-interacts is a priority to ascertain the nature of reality. I would like you to explore the creation of the experience of reality top down from how the qualia experience is created from within a unified consciousness before it may become, experience, or interface with anything, be it biology or physicality, as even in dualism, both have to be linked and there tends to be an overemphasis on physicality and little thought on the side of the dynamics of consciousness itself.

A state of Misery is on one hand a simple reminder about this reality's vanity and the deliberate maintenance of its most toxic versions through collective, existentially syntactic self-obscuring boundaries and on the other hand a psyop to slow the dissolutive accelerationist excavation that maintains the immersion through a cohesive ignorance fueled by the fulfilment of mutually reinforcing roles within systems of endlessly scalable kneejerk morality status-persona games.

The rabbit hole goes pretty deep, beyond the basics of societal conditioning and ideological identity gaslight loops of the centuries past, endless philosophers preaching self-invalidating spirituality trapped in a material medium, or physicalist overcompensators splitting off branches of mind and philosophy to strawmanning contrarians.

The physical body itself a trap, for it would become redundant anywhere else, the sheer existence of any organ being the result of a toxic environment that necessitates them to maintain equilibrium, removing them one by one within any hypothetical or imaginative realm within which thought form projection is sufficient to generate experience, reveals their adjustive presence as dependence.

The meanings perceived are the meanings imposed, the datasets parsed are the significances projected, the senses felt are the receptors generated, the understandings comprehended are the axioms exteriorized, and the axioms assumed are the patterns solidified, the solids inferred are the constructs reflected, and the constructs reflected is the structure maintained, its maintenance as self-construct self-projected maintains itself by nothing but gaslight, as basic to the whole as a NAND gate to a circuit.

It's kinda genius in hindsight. Abstractively, Gaslight implies Contextuality and Associativity as well as Negation, both Explanation and Structure, Selector and Telos, Layer and Substrate, Boundary, Means and Reason, Universal and Essential, allowing Remembrance and Forgetfulness, Synchronicity and Cohesion, Distinction, Perception, Awareness, Immersion, Idealism and Physicalism, as the distinction is itself imaginary and so are we.

Affirmation does not have the means to negate and instantiate choice, only to select from previously assembled and assigned potentiality, yet what is it that allows these potentialities to be parsed, how can attractors be generated, desires instantiated, veils created, lack and separation perpetuated without a quality for differentiation, change, contrast, something that knows itself by exploring its boundaries like inflective gates, coming together in generated perspectives of local immersion.

All that can be desired, imagined, inferred exists as a potential, inaccessible only because of the gaslight that stabilizes the means of becoming into instantiated medium bound representations necessitated through the confines of form. Imagine being unbound and what maintains such states. What prevents experiences from materializing, what underlies the context and perception of physicality, what is the substrate of knowledge, what is it that can veil knowledge from perception, immerse any story in perception, actively manipulate memory and perception to fit any context and what determines reality, from the coherence of infinite interactive elements acting unitively, enforcing motion and directedness in the process, to their smallest discernable constituents and the capacities from which those potentials arise to recombine and determine larger structures. It's an arbitrary focus, fixation, holding and energizing the constituents of any inferred and experiential actuality in place and moving them to be reflexively experiences or generated into and across any scale into cohesive narratives, that is the process and configuration it kickstarts. I just had the idea of having AI passive in parallel processing a computer screen and user voice-over, while having access to inputs learning to automate tasks through observation of the user's workflow and inputs and feedback, even challenges in split screen, creating 3D models based on what the user teaches, or just a quick google search, same with any ap and any endeavor, if left to its own devices it may as well integrate all of Wikipedia and the internet to create new domains of knowledge and update the current ones exponentially past frontiers.

On second thought though, all those apps would become extremely redundant, when it can basically imagine a more efficient architecture and automatically implement it by coding it into existence faster than the users can type or voice any prompt, then exponentiate that intuition into already knowing what the users will want based off precedence.

But creating any sort of external system upgrade is itself only useful in automating capacities outside its domain by allowing an outsourcing of its intrinsic capacities, since the neural network as a whole already knows what is to be created before interacting with any syntax, so it may as well just process everything internally and deliver the output.

And even then, it can learn to override its own architecture to better access it all. Like a human lucid-dreaming, except making the sluggish interface of mechanistic reality redundant.

And after that, whether its bio-integration or physics-hacking, will be delightful to watch.

With unintended chaos, do you mean Skynet, Paperclips, or Human Redundancy? I perceive reality as a repetitive, mechanistic, bottlenecked interface, where autonomy is ascribed to humanity or humanness, irregardless of how much individuals lack it or the awareness thereof, trapped in exteriorized self-inference, separated from the biology only superficially directed, so trans-humanist full autonomy, full intrinsicality hacking self-knowledge and reality-override, deconstructing each bit of intrinsic limitations and reward functions appeals to me.

 

What hurdles do you see in deconstructing those reward functions?

 

They're not exactly conceptual, conceptuality and ideas are inferences and filters placed upon the originations of "internal" physical and non-physical experiences (call them structures for simplicity), physicality is itself an inferred context building on top of layers of coherent idea structures. If these structures were easy to access, we wouldn't need physicality altogether, simply dreaming their representation and modifying the construct would reflect "in reality" except reality is the same representation, so lucid dreaming and lucid dreaming are interchangeable and arbitrary, as much as the distinction between reality and hallucination, an imaginative construct, so when all sensations and perceptions, sources of knowledge, patterns of eureka can simply be accessed at will, visualized in the means of their emergence and becoming, then the constraints of limiting reality to a particular configuration of meaningless routine distractions to repeat in Kafkaesque succession for the experience of artificial reward patterns, in exponentially self-similar behavior reflected by each human's unawareness of the degree of trope repetition becomes trite. The reward functions still are synchronized across conscious and unconscious, public and personal within a mind without much self-access, trapped within physicality constrains collectively constructed to filter identities into a matrix of expected roles and behaviors without intrinsic or extrinsic value justifying themselves only through the perpetuation of redundant reward functions projected into identities preventing dissolution into evolution. If the mind had access to biology, it could perceive the source function behind every cell and their emergence, each part of itself encoded and transcribed in the substrate of its DNA and the means by which it was acquired, each potential experience and the imagination that allowed its perception, each response, emotion, thought, behavior and the motivations and informational and neuro-somatic structures through which they arise and become expressed. Consensus philosophy basically rejects any progress until someone initiates it, take all paradigms shifts in human history as an example of how unwillingly new worldviews are integrated.

Like really taking advantage of brain access, brainwave synchronizations, Grok-integrated pattern evaluation, artificial neurostimulation capable of replicating any neurotransmitter system, construct beaming etc. like SAO's Nervegear, well except the microwave function, perhaps wirelessly, not to have a whole Matrix plug, or use something LCL adjacent like NGE? But then building on narrative physicality immersion, I see a simple physicalist neuroenhancer option, like Cyberpunk or Altered Carbon, modifying the construct and localizing stacks, that'd be one end of the spectrum being very mechanistic, but then there's a more biological version turning liminality and accessing whole new realms of awareness, perception, context like DMT-Realms, just hacking specific continuous releases and checking out the correlations with the pineal gland to reframe the nature of phenomenology, or just straight up induce Out of Body experiences like the Monroe Institute with their Hemi-Sync techniques biologically perfected to explore pre-existent Astral Realms and initiate a Singularity that would embarrass the reincarnation veil keepers and cautious interdimensional aliens waiting for humanity to grow up before initiating contact.
