  1. @Elia Just go workout, get some highs through sport (for me it was free running), you'll become super conscious for a short while, and it will expand by time, until you will be able to end your addiction. Try this for a month or two. You NEED those highs!
  2. Reality is a pendulum!
  3. What is nature? Imagine if everyone else hears voices in their heads except that one person. If he came and said: they're not voices mere thoughts, they'd definitely send him to psychotherapy.
  4. Right, I shouldn't. But anyways, that's what I think.
  5. @pluto8 Well, no. You gotta explain a little bit.
  6. @theking00 Start by something simple, like videos on YouTube about confidence and the issues that you have. And as for the suffering, practice surrendering to reality, to the present moment, whatever the content is. Try to love and accept everything in your life, and as you accept more, you will be able to change more.
  7. This is hilarious, Leo won't ever be naive enough to accept such childish competition. The forum is open for everyone if zzenn wants to make a conversation with Leo. We all did and do all the time, we criticise Leo and learn from him, he's very humble and responsive.
  8. @Alex I'm excited to see the results! Good luck Alex!
  9. @Pouya And yet, you know it for a fact that you are not a meat machine. How on earth can you rest sure that everyone is merely a meat machine?!
  10. @Anton_Pierre Cool insights man! Thanks for sharing.
  11. @Kubia Cool stuff man! I'm happy for you. Here's a clue: God hides in the most unexpected of places. Or you can say: you find what you want when you stop looking. Or: insight shows up when you least expect it.
  12. @AlphaAbundance I don't know why they are pushing people so much to pursue enlightenment. In my opinion, this can be underproductive. Some people are meant to be athletes, some are meant to be doctors, some are meant to be mystics. Yes, you can use psychedelics or whatever to realise God if you are an atheist. But if you already believe in God, you just want happiness, and you can achieve it through faith and acceptance.
  13. Not everyone has to be a mystic. Belief in God is enough for ordinary people (most people).
  14. Happiness = Surrendering (full acceptance)+ Ignorance (not-knowing)
  15. @leintdav000 Hello, and welcome to the forum! If you want the ego backlash to turn into happiness, surrender to it and comfort yourself, observe it happening to you, observe all the details you can observe (consciousness method). If you want it to turn into success, prepare yourself with more discipline when not having the backlash. Train yourself to raise your baseline behaviours, and when the backlash comes, it will be less difficult for you to take back control (training method). If you want both happiness and success, well that's a hell of a job to do. But eventually, I think one will lead to the other, though it will take a lot of time.
  16. @sgn To me, he seems to be coming from a loving place. He loves humanity and cares about the world too much, that he is against what he considers evil religious dogma, and is not open to it at all. He claims that he'd spent 10 years practising spiritually, I don't believe him, maybe he's lying out of love, but who really knows?
  17. @DanTheLurker I'd do it for a friend that is worth it.
  18. There is always something to talk about. And if there is none, that's just another topic to talk about. You just need more experience. Be the active side of the conversation. Create stories. People love stories. Watch some comedy movies and series, they will help you with your sense of humour. Watch some YouTube videos on this topic. Talk about your experiences. Be confident. Try not to be always precise. Leave room for error. Accept when someone corrects you. Always focus on the positive side. But don't ignore the negative, just make it feel less real, and give hope. Don't think too much of what you say. People usually don't think through everything you say, they just pick the vibe. Talk about how you feel. People usually appreciate feelings more than logic. Work on your body language. Be detached of the outcome, let the conversation be innocent and natural. Don't be afraid of anything, believe it or not, people don't usually underestimate you unless you give them a reason to. Notice how a cool person acts, learn from them, talk with them. Notice how a cool person can make a dumb topic very interesting, learn how to do so. These are some ideas for you, and you can pick what you feel is right for you. It's not a formula, practice makes perfect.
  19. @tecladocasio @Shaun God created heaven for the believers, and hell for the unbelievers. Join his side and enter the paradise. I'm sorry for this religious language, but it's the most eloquent thing to say here. The things that you are afraid of losing, are not yours to begin with, they're God's. Your mom, your children, your body, your anything, they're all a blessing from God, but the ego is too greedy and ungrateful, and is selfish, and that's why it deserves hell, hell is your own creation. Again, I'm sorry for the religious language. Realise this, or keep suffering.
  20. @Harikrishnan If you believe in yourself, you will do it. That's a simple law of life. And that's your life purpose you're talking about. It might take years of practice to master your life purpose, and then you'll have time to focus on other stuff. Don't think of philosophical stuff like free will, etc... Right now, if you are happy, you don't need to answer the big questions. Get your life stable, step by step. Financial security is key to your success. So cover that issue first, and then everything will be much easier.
  21. @Harikrishnan I think it's more about what you really want. To the most successful people, they don't even think of their success as hard work and achievement, to them it comes out very naturally. They do what makes them fulfilled. They genuinely want the things that they get, and that's why they can go after them effortlessly. And also they have the discipline required to achieve what they want. So in conclusion: Mindfulness. Genuine interest and passion. Discipline and commitment. Focus. Will power. Big vision.
  22. @Harikrishnan If you can become mindful at the level of minute, you can do whatever you want, you will be able to destroy mountains with one hand, and rub a girl's pu**y with the other hand, and all of it will be effortless.
  23. @thesmileyone So, again this is something I understand. The whole God and devil analogy, I'm quite familiar with it. But I'm not going to pretend that I'm enlightened and that I am God like other people do. I'll just be honest and let the rest to be decided by God himself, I'll do what I can, and if God wants me to awaken that's perfect, if not, that is still good. I've learned how to enjoy my life, I've learned that less is more. Intellectually, I understand all that. I just don't feel it on a cellular level (not 100% sure). I prefer not-knowing than pretending to know. @FoxFoxFox According to Leo in his latest video, no-self is not the ultimate Truth.
  24. Depends on the one who is aware of the layers
  25. An enlightened master is like God. He can even cause enlightenment in the ignorant seekers, just by staring at them in the eye
