  1. Given up, actually. You can't argue with an enlightened master.
  2. @Scholar Belief is a very tricky thing, because it's protecting something considered the most important thing. With enough luck you can help them out, or else, they're trapped for a while longer, or forever.
  3. @David Hammond Have you considered that this could be only a projection?
  4. @David Hammond Passive, yes. Aggressive, no. I'm working on it.
  5. @David Hammond it's not about saying it, but rather about embodying it. I also learned that I have to become more loving, thanks for the nice conversation!
  6. Be humble. Just as simple as that. We're all egos. No one is above anyone else.
  7. I don't know, I'm kind of stuck here. My best guess is the thing that is having this experience, or the experience itself. I can't point to it really.
  8. It taught me that I'm an ego, and that I need to be humble.
  9. @Preetom I'm kind of offended (not really, but lacking a better word), because I'm in peace already and I want to seek, why don't you think it's possible to have both?
  10. @SoonHei Yes, but it's the lightest version of no-self. There's a lot more, I've only glimpsed the surface of it. @Preetom I'm destined to doom! Lol! I don't want to let go of seeking.
  11. This non-duality is not what ordinary human beings experience 99.99% of the time. Of course, happiness is just a perspective, but it's way better perspective than suffering. Maybe we're all God, but we're also human beings with egos and perspectives. We're either happy or suffering.
  12. @mandyjw This is so beautiful Mandy! You are Love, and you are worthy of all the Love.
  13. @Giulio Bevilacqua You wouldn't be asking such a question if you have experienced disidentification. You're witnessing all the time, the question is: are you disidentified? It's a very distinct experience, you can't miss it.
  14. @phllip103 Three full burgers at midnight, and I'm done. I don't know how many you'll need.
  15. @mandyjw Trust me on this one, stuff yourself with food, your sense of time will be reset, your whole system will calm down, and you will easily fall asleep.
  16. @Joseph Maynor You most certainly are a "legit bot that Leo is exploiting" Or else how would you be able to come up with these brilliant insights?! Seriously, I've never thought of arguing this way before. Really, I'm checking with reality right now, and yeah, you're totally right. "To live is to argue". Great insight! So, I'd settle for this: argument can be a good pragmatic tool, if used properly.
  17. @David Hammond Correct, I don't like being dishonest, especially with myself, but that's just me. I'm not an enlightened master, I'm neither enlightened nor a master. I'm just a poor little ego, with accurate observations.
  18. @Joseph Maynor So Joseph, you think arguing is healthy? I say it's not, but that doesn't mean we must eliminate it. Perhaps the error is necessary. I don't think becoming perfect could be achieved through striving for perfection. I think it happens naturally with time and conscious observation.
  19. If the ego-mind was bad, God would've never created it in the first place. Watch out for this duality, love is not opposed to hatred. That's not what ultimate Love is. Love doesn't reject other aspects of reality, Love can wear a lot of masks. Sometimes Love will make you suffer, because suffering is needed. Sometimes Love will punch you in the face, because that's what is needed. Sometimes Love will create terrorism for the greater good. Just accept and let go. Love is inside of you, you can't find it in others, but you can project your love on to others, like you can project anything else.
  20. I don't believe anyone is 100% perfect all the time. 90-99% is close to perfection, and it's quite enough, right?
