  1. @Pacific Sage I think it does. Blind faith helps shutting down the monkey mind. Blind faith helps in finding peace and then surrendering. Mantras are a practical use of the Law of Attraction.
  2. @Anna1 Once you have eaten from the tree, you have become cursed. And now you will always remain its captive until you shit whatever you've eaten ? (I made some edits in my previous posts).
  3. @Anna1 I never "accused" you in specific of overthinking ? The ultimate teaching is no-teaching. By the way, if you don't think that you're overthinking, then you're probably overthinking. When you really don't overthink, you know it, you don't guess.
  4. @DrewNows That's the ultimate truth regarding happiness. Perhaps "luck" is not the right word. Maybe I should have used the word "bless". If you want happiness, stop searching for it. You're already out of luck!
  5. @Anna1 And how is overthinking going to solve that problem exactly? I think it only makes it worse. P.S. I had no idea I was talking Neo-Advaita until you mentioned it. You see how simple it is? It requires no knowledge.
  6. You guys just like to overthink and then get lost in the labyrinths of the mind. (Did you know?)
  7. You have no idea how his life situation actually is, and neither do I. But please respect that. I take your comment as an insight you got lately, or something you're struggling with. @Peter124 Hang in there. I know how hard it is, but it will inevitably pass. I find meditation to be the best way to find inner peace and stillness. From there, I ground myself, think, and act. Everything becomes much easier and clearer when you're in the flow of the moment. The point is, meditate as much as possible (out in nature if possible). To me, my journey wasn't about expressing my thoughts or living a certain lifestyle. Actually, when I dropped that, my life got way better. Also, try to work on building a foundation for a good future, baby-step it, no need for rushing. Learn a skill, develop a hobby, possibly an art, maybe find some job. Psychedelics are a red line for you right now. Forget about them completely for now. Of course, these are all just my ideas and suggestions. I don't actually know what your life situation is like. Use your own wisdom. Best of luck!
  8. I would like to add that the only requirement for happiness is good luck. If you're happy, then that's just because you're lucky. Nothing more. Because you can't force happiness.
  9. @LoveandPurpose It's a tricky question. Because once you think of something as a requirement for happiness, you set up a condition. And once you set up a condition, you won't be truly happy. The trick is to drop all conditions, including the latter. That's how happiness works. By happiness here, I mean peace of mind. Not necessarily some ecstatic state. @ajasatya Are you talking about the minimum requirements for staying alive? Because in my experience, happiness is not dependent on any of them. I once felt ecstasy merely from standing in the cold and rain for 7 hours straight, it was awesome! Of course, acceptance implied. ???
  10. @fortifyacacia3 I was going to reply, but I honestly didn't understand your question very well.
  11. @Jacobsrw I would say it works both ways. And in your case, it was like focusing on not thinking of an elephant. Anyway, I agree with what you said, but I also think you have become intensely aware because it was a new method that you've never tried before. The mind haven't created tolerance for it yet. @Nahm I wasn't kidding, but I'm glad it made you laugh ?
  12. @montecristo I think you have the answers, and you just need to ask yourself some questions: What do you want in life? How do you want your life to be? What are your highest values? How is a certain hierarchy going to affect your life? I wouldn't focus tooo much on the pros and cons. I would care more about the fundamental things, like health, happiness, and being able to make a decent life. To me, all the other stuff are a bonus.
  13. Amazing! Law of Attraction at work.
  14. Interesting. Thanks. I've never been in bed with a woman yet, so I have no idea.
  15. @Bryanbrax This will sound anti-spiritual, but I'll suggest it anyway; lose the task list for some time and do whatever you want. Suck the joy out of the things you're addicted to until you start getting bored by them. And then you will discover that they were meaningless from the beginning, and that you were deluding yourself. Be where you want to be. Don't chase it, just do it. @ajasatya Why quitting porn?
  16. I agree ? The external world affects the internal world, and vice-versa.
  17. Of course, that's how it looks like from the ego's perspective. The ego does not want to lose control. Truth is dangerous.
  18. @Ar_Senses ? Jumping between perspectives is a stage Yellow quality.
  19. @MezzoAria I never said the rules are fixed. The video you posted is merely optical illusions, not magic.
  20. Without science we wouldn't be able to talk on forums. Science is not just storytelling. It's a very practical and beneficial type of storytelling. Science is the sweetest lie!
  21. @Ar_Senses In my opinion, integrating stage Blue happens by acquiring a taste for picking the most beneficial beliefs to guide you through life.
  22. @FrankTheTank We have gone beyond the limits of science. Science's evidence is based on consensus. Without consensus, scientists are just bullshitting us. I think that is exactly what you think Leo is doing. But no, of course you shouldn't take his word for granted. Science is all about third-person phenomenon, while Leo is all about first person phenomenon (which scientists usually dismiss). Science is great, and I love it. But it's not the truth.
  23. Something is going on with my third-eye.
