  1. @zoey101 I don't think it's about self-actualization or meditation or anything else. I don't think I know anything anymore. It's life, really confusing. I literally have no clue whatsoever.
  2. @Outer Lol, no worries dude. Just speculating. I liked your previous profile picture btw, guy and two girls ??
  3. Good point. Thanks. There's nothing stimulating in pixels on a screen. Your mind thinks it's stimulating. But it's a belief. However, you can become mindful of how you get sucked into the illusion. I think this might be useful to practice.
  4. "God is unknown" is also a belief. Also, how could 'prophets' know God and tell us about him if he's unknown? Did they just believe? If so, believe who? Consider the possibility that these people here might have a perspective. What if they're right? What if God can be known? I wouldn't want to miss the opportunity to know Him. (I'm not enlightened).
  5. Okay, I understand, but how do you know it's the Truth? What is the Truth then? Tell me please if you would, I've been searching for so long. If you believe that your beliefs are the Truth, then what's the difference between both? And a catch 22 question: Is my Truth the true Truth, or yours, or his, or hers, or theirs, or ours all?
  6. It's obviously an illusion, even if all the people on earth fell for it, it's still an illusion. We're seeking Truth, which is the only valuable thing we could ever think of. It's even more valuable than survival. That's the mindset we're here to learn. My question was just to get to know other perspectives on video games. So thank you.
  7. I never realised how much wisdom he had until now! ? Hmm, meaning get your priorities right. Right? So you think we should be pragmatic about it? Isn't that egoic? Freedom, happiness, etc.. I guess. Sorry dude, I'm not sure you're serious or just making humor! Though I like the content. ? Thanks for sharing ?
  8. I don't agree on universal God. I think the universe is just the universe, we're a part of it. What knowledge do we have about God? How could we even talk about Him? How could an 'ant' understand the complexity of a car, rather than also the maker of the car indeed. What I really don't like about Actualized.org is that they assume that God (The Maker, The Creator) and the universe (The Creation) are the same thing. They have no proof or ground for that. They just assume it, and speak like it's the ultimate Truth.
  9. We have an Arab saying that goes like: "One fig matures if it's exposed to others."
  10. I just love this stuff.
  11. Faith, Obedience, Service, Prayer, and Holy Ghost. Just googled it. @Quanty Thanks for sharing.
  12. Enlightenment should humble one down. If it doesn't, it isn't.
  13. Yes, but I heard once they're only 5. What else could it be then? The 5 senations?
  14. @Etagnwo The drive for me is love ?, I mentioned that many times. Look, if you're anything but an atheist, then no problem, you're on the right way. The only thing you need is the end of suffering, which you may have had already. Again, the Truth is there for you whenever you seek it. It just takes many forms. ?
  15. Assuming that you are already truly free, you should be able to stop hating rape, for example, whenever you want to. Which seems not to be the case, I don't know if you can, but I guess from your comments that you are a slave to your emotions, not the other way around. Also, you're being defensive about your opinion which ultimately implies slavery. You really solve nothing by hating it. A robot with no emotions at all could prevent stealing, for example, it could also steal and kill and rape, with no emotions at all. Why would you assume emotions are necessary and objective? Understanding is the way. Much love ?
  16. @Spinoza What Leo is trying to do, is completing the agenda of religion, it's an ego, it has a purpose, which is the end of suffering. Because to a non-egoic being there's no point of talking, no point of ending suffering, no point of anything. Who knows? Maybe God is an ego, maybe He has His own agenda. ? I just can't blindly believe that God (Who is infinitely intelligent) is playing around. There has to be something we still don't understand. See, all that Leo is really about is non-materialism, the opposite pole of atheism and current society. Religion did the same thing only in a different way, Leo is mainly targeting an atheist audience that is so stuck in the materialist paradigm. Whereas religion's audience were theists but mostly polytheistic or a corrupt monotheistic or something like that. I think this is the big picture for Actualized.org, Leo indirectly hints to that all the time.
  17. It's true, life is meaningless. Your ego wants to create meaning, and I'm not saying that meaning is a bad thing. I'm just saying it's not the Truth. Only you decide whether you want to be deluded or not. Appreciate how much freedom you get from knowing the Truth.
  18. @electroBeam It might seem blunt and abstract, but all you have to do is just BE the one you need to be. What helps you most busting your limitations is Leo's videos on how to stop being a victim. I've been there. If you have already watched them, then start taking action, don't give up control, love your self, accept your self, cuz you're a good person, I remember you helped me once. Meditate, contemplate, inquire, eat healthy, exercise, go out with your friends, accept their perspectives, love others, love yourself, stop overthinking if you do (I assume so), and finally get enough comfortable sleep (I think this one is important). Hope you find something useful. Much love ?
  19. It's not personal dude, we're just sharing perspectives. You think your emotions inform you because you have never questioned them. Contemplate emotions, how do they arise? And why? Stop taking emotions for granted, they're very subjective, you create your emotions, this is the Truth. Much love and respect for you ?
  20. You can like or dislike it (judge it), or you can simply try to understand why it happened in the first place. The latter is where you solve the problems. Otherwise, emotions only create more hatred.
  21. @Leo Gura said: "But then again, ask yourself: is what you're experiencing right now not fantastical? You're alive, you exist. Look at all these amazing things that's happening around you, it's utterly remarkable. You just take it for granted because you've been alive for so many decades, that you take it for granted. But when you were born, it was all magical and incredible, and none of it made any sense, it was all fantastical, there was no such thing as seeing a dog walking down the street and not being fascinated and blown away by it. It was incredible." I have been wondering for almost a month about life, experience, consciousness, and being. Just the way how Leo articulated it was so eloquent, it had my heart open. I love you Leo ? Great episode, and very mind opening. And thumbs up for the beard and the new shirt. They're perfect for you.
  22. Exactly, that's the strange loop he's always talking about. The rational mind can never grasp it. And I'm not saying I do, I just don't reject it either.
  23. Uh sorry, my bad, I read you wrong. Yes, it's a strange loop. A rock is in consciousness and it is consciousness. I don't really understand this, so I'm not sure if it is true, but that's what Leo means.
