  1. @TisDoney I don't think enlightenment and unconditional happiness are the same thing. Do you think so? I understand that enlightenment is Truth realisation, and with it comes true happiness. Happiness alone is not called enlightenment, rather it's called unconditional happiness. Anyway, are you Truth-realised?
  2. @Surfingthewave Actually, I think you should let go of it. That's how you keep it. Let it go...
  3. @Aakash I thought you'd be in Hawaii by now.
  4. @clouffy I don't know about other people, but I was super depressed and unhappy, and now I am the happiest person on earth. I'm not enlightened yet, but I'd say that understanding yourself, mind and emotions, is very rewarding.
  5. @Manjushri Do whatever you think you should do, but simply be there when you do it. When you walk, notice: "I'm walking". When you talk, notice: "I'm talking". Apply this for everything in your life, and you will be just fine.
  6. @Lacru It varies. You'll learn what to do and how to do it by time. Time gives experience, and experience is all you need. There's no specific response to anything at all, and most of the times the reaction comes spontaneously. You need to know what you want and how to get it. Just simple as this. @Arhattobe ?
  7. @SQAAD it can have all sorts of effects on your body. Use it wisely with caution. I had a sore throat because of it. I think it varies from one person to another. Stay well. Health before wealth.
  8. @Bobby is there any distinctions between past-present-future? Funny thing is, even right now is not right now. Because what is it exactly? What is the substance of it? Where does it start and end?
  9. @Conceptually-made Here's the only one rule to life: There's no rules. (Ironically, it applies to the original rule as well).
  10. @Aakash I also have a question: How to become gaming master?
  11. @isness is my bizness yes, beliefs are pointers, including this one. A beautiful mind-fuck.
  12. @Ethan_05 Do the same things you always do, but from now on, focus on the process instead of the results. Detach yourself from progress and become more mindfully accepting and enjoying the process in the present moment.
  13. @Belay kelemework if you find value in the videos, then watch them.
  14. @Jed Vassallo it's a nice idea. But on the other hand, what life is that? We'll have enough time to rest after we die. I understand your point, and I myself crave to do the same. But, I think that it will be just a temporary phase. After a certain point of self-understanding, I assume that one will want to live life with all of its problems and limitations. Because that's what being alive human being means. Cheers man, best of luck on your journey.
  15. @Belay kelemework you'll learn the answer the hard way, and when that happens, remember to come back here. We will be here ready to help you.
  16. @Enlightenment I don't want to disagree with you, but I think that the ultimate goal is dissolution. Disidentification, in my opinion, is temporary and whole. While dissolution is permanent and, probably but not necessarily, whole.
  17. Although I'm okay with it, since it shows me how I could possibly delude myself. But here goes: I notice every now and then on this forum the tendency of people to claim enlightenment, my best guess is that that's because of the promise of samadhi and nirvana i.e. it's too good to be true. That being said, don't you think that we should focus our attention on the hard grinding work of dissolving our egos instead of daydreaming? Part of this problem might be stemming from certain teachings that emphasise the final result on the expense of the work required to get there. Again, I don't have any problem with that or with anyone per se. Just wanted point out that wanting to get results without working towards them just ain't gonna yield, yet adds another layer of deception on top of others, thus making it even harder to get there. (P.S. myself not excluded). Be well my friends.
  18. @Joseph Maynor yep, here @Truth Addict figure #1. @Aaron p that, I think, is true skepticism. @WelcometoReality @Good-boy thank you guys, I needed that.
  19. Surrender to it, whatever that feels like, and also surrender to that. Every negative emotion is a conflict. And fighting is not the answer.
  20. @Sashaj Is there anywhere to run or hide from Truth? No? So why not just be happy with it? Surrender. Surrender. Surrender.
  21. @Shin @DrewNows exactly! @Sashaj of course, enlightenment (concept) is an illusion, just like the illusion (ego) that created it. All of which need to be removed in order to see the Truth.
