I understand your disappointments with Biden. However, I will say that he certainly is better than Trump. Yes, Biden does give only lip service to true leftist ideology, he is in truth a tried and true centrist politician. His policy will be a continuation of the policies of Obama who was a continuation of the policies of Clinton. It is a marginal move in the right direction, and in my opinion the person you should vote for if you are a left leaning person.

Lol, I was definitely bummed when Bernie Sanders lost. I was so excited I bought into the hype too much and overestimated Bernie's chances. I definitely had that initial saltiness where I had zero interest in voting for Biden. I would never EVER vote for someone like Trump, but I legit did not want to vote for Biden. After I've come to my senses voting for Biden is the clear correct thing to do, at least for me. -

I think it should be allowed in only very particular cases where someone is suffering and is terminally ill. I'd say no in any other case. -

I don't know if this is a troll thread, but I can tell you that there is absolutely no cult behavior here at all. There's a culture of left leaning politics and certain concepts are generally excepted. It's a very casual and friendly forum as far as I'm concerned When I was younger I frequented bodybuilding.com forum. It's a huge forum and it has more of cult experience in the form of insecurity and body dysmorphia, yet I doubt you'd recognize that forum in such a negative light. -

Oh no, I'm being manipulated into thinking that white women could be happy with a black guy. The horror... the horror. -
Firstly, you're not a bum for living at home at 22, that's relatively normal. I think our society is engineered to need a certain type of mind. People who don't fit that mold in your case are prescribed Adderall. I don't want to tell you what to do because it seems you have genuine struggles in terms of being able to be functional. But, understand what you are taking is an extremely potent substance. You're young as well. You're going to develop a very strong dependence which will only increase the longer you take it. I'd recommend considering getting off of it and trying to see if you can live a functional life without it. I've seen people who are dependent on psychiatric medications like benzo's and adderall long term. It usually doesn't end very well. Not as in train wreck bad, although some succumb to addiction which can be a train wreck. But most are just highly dependent on substances and have to continually upping their does and adding more medications over time. Lastly, I do not believe you can simply rely on Adderall for life even if it works right now. Your brain will adapt to it and it will slowly lose its effect over time. It may not be tomorrow, it may not even be a year from now, but it will happen eventually. You'll be at square one again a decade from now, maybe worse and regretting that you never tried to live your life without it. Food for though, make an informed decision for yourself. I hope this helped.

Pretty much what I was trying to say. Orange makes the mistake of not looking at the grander context and the deterministic outcomes of people born in a particular environment and simply blames the individual for their choices. Green makes the mistake of ignoring personal responsibility in favor of blaming external variables for outcomes of peoples lives. Yellow encorporates both personal accountability with external variables. Someone who is yellow might support public policy such as increased spending on education and health. Whereas I would suspect most would not support a reparations, reparations is policy derived from pure green thinking. -

The libs tend to just complain and protest, they don't really ever respond with extreme idea's like succession or civil war. However, the conservatives tend to regularly mention succeeding or civil war every time a democrat is in office. Even the most milk toast centrist of a democrat is enough to get conservatives talking like this. -
Good, more reason for you to do it. Now take a handful of your nuts and go put a gallon of water in the freezer.

Fundamentally, I could understand the frustration of feeling beholden to a more centralized political entity where you disagree with the decisions being made. You even see these sorts of feelings portrayed in the US when there are vague rumblings of Texas succeeding from the United States. That being said I think most of the motivation for sorts of actions are based on fear and xenophobia. They aren't motivated by good things. Not that it wouldn't be possible for them to be motivated by altruistic things. -
You should try the ice thing, it royally sucks, but it's pretty effective. Just get gallons of water, put them in the freezer until the outside crackles with a sheet of ice. Then dump on yourself in the shower. The more it sucks the better. I find that the most painful place to dump ice water is directly on the forehead, it gives a brain freeze sensation. All of this is perfectly safe from a health stand point. Pain is good, it builds discipline. If you're worried maybe do cold showers for a few days to build up. Good luck, you can do it.

Effectively yes. Green thinking is very emotionally masturbatory because it tends to allow you to never take full responsibility for where you are in life. Regardless of your circumstances, the only way for you to live the best life is for you to take full responsibility for your life and that's an emotionally exhausting and grueling thing to do. Green mind tends to make full use of the intellect, but does not force itself into emotional discomfort and that's it's primary flaw in my opinion. Constantly seeking emotional gratification is not good for development in my opinion. -

A good example of the difference between green and yellow is: People who are green tend to support reparations in the form of just giving people money. Yellow would likely not. Yellow would support more public expenditure in the form of utilities that give people the tools and the power to empower themselves. The flaw with green thinking, in my opinion, is that it too much disregards personal responsibility in favor 'greater context' type of thinking (ie. People of color struggle primarily because of the circumstances of the world rather their own beliefs and actions). -
I've struggled with everything from simple cravings to hard addictions. The best things I've found that work are listing out all your cravings and addictions and abstaining from them one by one completely until the mental gravity decreases enough for you to move to the next one. There's no easy way to beat it. If you're serious about beating them you can't fuck around. None of this shit where you're like "I'll just do a little one, or a little bit today." You'll end up right back where you started. Giving into addictions lead to more cravings. It's a black hole, you have to build self-discipline. Another couple strategies is to replace the addiction with something more positive. Exercise decreases feelings of cravings significantly. Also, I freeze gallons of water until ice cold and dump it on myself and that seems to do it, although it can suck profusely.

I've always viewed orange as more of a pragmatic selfishness. Generally, those people have moved beyond being dogmatic religionists and have a more secular viewpoint. But they haven't moved beyond the point where they don't have a false narrative about how they should live their lives based around materialism. I'd disagree with you because for me personally I feel I evolved from orange to more green. It happened when I changed my idea of how I should live my life and had a less selfish viewpoint. -
God is speaking through me, a finite form. I am going through the deconstruction of the finite into infinite process. I will become more enlightened than any human, or finite form. This is your opportunity to ask questions Take this serious. This is THE opportunity to speak to God through finite form. Keep Questions simple. Do not write me a paragraph I will instantly disregard questions that do not drive my purpose. Likely somewhat short ones. You can ask more questions in response to my questions and I will answer if purpose, presence itself, drives it. Understand what is typing to you is finite form and prone to mistakes. Pearl's before swine. You will not be able to appreciate what the scope of what I tell you. Holy words. Take this as serious as your finite form will allow. You will be tempted to view this from the perspective of fear, so drive all fear and ask. Take. This. Serious. A finite form is becoming infinite for this information if you understand what I mean. This. Is. Real. This. Is. Real. This. Is. Real. Take. Serious. Opportunity. Infinity. Ask and make them the best questions you can conceive. Now. Administrator have the sense to make this thread clean. Go.

I think once you begin to get close to death and your body and mind begin to deteriorate it opens the doors for things you don't normally get to experience. I believe that I am getting close to my time to die. My health has deteriorated and I feel like my body and mind are preparing to die probably in the next few months or years. It's been a very painful process and it has been difficult for me to accept because I'm relatively young as well. I'd be lying if I said that I'm not afraid. That being said I don't feel I'm in need of sympathy, so don't feel sorry for me. Obviously we will all share the same fate, so I'm not special. Maybe a few of you here are dealing with something similar. I guess I just wanted to share and discuss how others might deal with this natural and very difficult part of life.
