  1. Two years ago i went with my friends at the movies to see Roger Waters - The Wall. It was like 6 pm or something so we didnt drink or smoke anything. I remember i came directly from a 8 hours straight streak at the university and i had only a sandwich the whole day. I didnt even ordered popcorns or gassed drinks just a bottle of water. We take our seats and here we are. .. we were like 6-7 and in total 30-40 people no more. The movie begins but it wasnt a normal movie. It was a mix of narrated movie parts, filmed live performed songs of one of the best albums i've listened to in my life (pink floyd - the wall) . . . Psychedelic lights, animated parts and dialog. After one hour i forgot about my friends to the next seats, i forgot i was in a movie theatre, i wasnt watching or listening anymore. I was the movie, i was the music and i felt a strange energy in me like i was resonating 100% with that moment, i was feeling just like in the movie and when the singing parts kicked in i wasnt feeling love, i was love. . . It was exactly like making love to a girl you love . . . I cant explain it by mere text not to mention english isnt even my first language. . . So i felt like this til the end of the movie. When it ended and lights came up my ego came back to . . . Anyway i felt great for days and til that day i could not feel the same. . . I think being enlightened means to feel like that every single day, hour, minute. What is for you enlightenment? Have you ever had a similar story im curious to know . . . ?
  2. First they play the role of prey and predator then the mouse senses the snake is about to eat it. How can that happen? Only if they're part of the same consciousness so they realise that and love each other. At least thats what i understood from that. . .
  3. I got an easier one, goat milk kefir + honey + chia and flax seeds + half banana + a pinch of cinnamon . . . Sometimes i add here a scoop of golden whey protein before hitting the gym
  4. The most spiritual people i've known are professors and science teachers in high school and i studied electronics. . . I still remember my high school chemistry teacher say that the human body and consciousness are miracles in itself that we take for granted. The problem with mainstream science is that they take small steps because they risk getting denigrated by their own community so the methodology is fucked up. . .. but the people that are in there are most fascinating minds you can find
  5. First of all dont mix your personal relationships with your growth. You're complete by yourself. As i see it you need to take some actions. Watch all the videos of leo in the "mastering emotions" playlist and you could start meditating in a daily basis.
  6. Fear is a corporal reaction created by the lowerself in order to keep you alive. In particular moments is useful (for example if you cant see a car running full speed towards you, your heart pumps adrenaline, time slows, you run like usain bolt and you save yourself . . ..you barely have control on these actions because it happens so fast) but in the normal westerner life is crippling (for example fear to take a test or take the plane) . . . Here the body responds the same as in the car example BUT YOUR HIGHER SELF KNOWS PERFECTLY ITS BULLSHIT. So the fight between emotions and rational mind begins. If your rational mind wins you force yourself on taking the test or jumping on the plane you're so afraid off . . . Because cmon you read the statistics you know its more likely to die watching tv at home by a cardiac attack than on a plane but still your body reacts if you run into certain death. Or if your emotions wins you gonna take the bus trip where again is more risky (statistically) but safe emotionally. Thats why we all need to train our awareness and meditate, for the higherself to take control over these primordial fears that holds us back
  7. @blazed i can work on that especially now that i have it in my new years resolution list. I'm planning on selling my nintendo switch and ps4. The problem is that where i live is not much to do, only clubbing or videogames. I dont draw pleasure in clubbing anymore since 25 and these 3 years i focused on my studies gym and . . . .videogames. . . But because of that i lost my girl and since when i got my diploma (june 2017) i only played 8hours a day, maybe because i didnt want to face my emotions or maybe because i got addicted (i think they're both). . . Some singleplayer and some mobas with my friends online. My vision is degrading and im thinking of having a lasik surgery and resetting my life. Ill even try a 30 days no fap challenge im very curious about the results . . . If strong change is required strong emotional labour must be applied . . . . Sorry @shin for posting this on a nofap thread. . . .maybe we should start a noVideogames one and see how it goes
  8. Well, im far from where i wanna go ultimately but dont think that fap or nofap will make a bigger difference, personally where i struggle the most is my addiction with videogames and since i read this post i got curious so i wanted to try it and maybe keep it up for more if these "superpowers" manifest on me. I really dont wanna bring you guys down if you have an addiction surely you must work for it, for me, i got the videogames one, still since i saw this i thought to give it a try is that simple. . .
  9. @Shin i dont know if once or twice a week is considered addiction and i dont think in the future i will abstain from sex or masturbation in a moderate way but i surely wanna try the 30 days challenge to see if there's any benefit for me personally. Ok let's try the straight method then.
  10. What's the best approach from your personal experience. To abstain from fapping for 30 days straight or gradually first 2-3 days then a week then 2 weeks and then maybe 30 days? . . ..
  11. So you suffer and want do end it. . . To escape the pain right? But if you think about it what happens after it. . . Lets suppose you gonna reincarnate into another human being, 75% of people live poorly suffering and with no access to clean water, get flooded and cant afford food. What kind of life is that sm1 would say? Well i say that is life. . . You have 3/4 possibility to end up like that. Let's assume hell exist (which i doubt) you would be feeling pain for eternity. .. . Suppose everything goes dark with no memory and no timespace exists so this life of yours is a hallucination and never happend. . . Well it would happen anyway 40-50 years from now in a normal lifespan dont you think? So you cant really escape the universe. . . What's left to do. . .well my friend you have a health problem which i strongly recommend to seek help about. You owe it to your mum to your friends and to yourself. For what i read people who failed suicide most of them turned their life 180degrees because their family and friends helped them and listened their silenced scream. And dont tell me you cant do it coz on the internet there's a guy with no arms and no legs who got a job a perfect family and has a lot to give to the world. At least you can advertise yourself better on internet im sure you gonna be asked to play in concerts ect. Your guitar skills are amazing. I'm sure chicks would pull their had of fighting to bang you. But first you must help yourself in order for the universe (or God) to help you.
  12. @Shiva i have a friend in berlin that i visit often which lives the same as you, i like those small places where everything has its place although its harder to find space then time for yourself in the individuation process
  13. I'm almost 28, long story short i have a small appartament (70m2) and this year i'm going to live alone (currently i live with my parents). The thing i'm sure is that I wont be needing a TV. I have 300/350 books and growing. I will have a PC for internet, work, music and some videogames (still addicted to that shit but working on it) a special corner for meditation, a nice bedroom with just a bed some lights and a closet. All furniture in minimalistic style. Here at my parents i cant really meditate like i want to, so setting up my place in order to grow is fundamental. But what you guys think, how do you live and how's your place set up in function of a healthy meditative lifestyle?
  14. Master your emotions by being aware. Be aware by meditating. Leo has lots of videos about emotions and mindfulness... Give it a try On the other hand on the rational plain what people say to you is a projection of their shadow (or repressed feelings and desires) , in mere words its their story, if one of them failed pursuing their dream or repressed his call to adventure he/she of course would bring you down by telling you cant do it so they can feel better about themselves for not taking their chance. Anyway man know that failing is possible (more possible than succeeding in fact) but if there is even a 1% possibility to you being a good musician (being well recognised and well paid by producing music is what we're talking about here coz you can make music all day and nobody pays you a penny for that so you still have to work other shit) you should jump on that train.
  15. @elias I dont think that working conflicts with a meditative lifestyle (i'm speaking of meditating 30 min a day everyday like me actually) only if you work just for the money but its not called work its called being paid by selling your life, that's a complete different story. Meditation helped me during the last part of my MSc studies a lot (i took 3years+ to graduate because i slugged during my bachelors). It improved my ability to focus, think clearer and get shit done. I think is the same related if you have a job you like or at least kinda like. Anyway meditation is the ultimate tool and i think it deserves to be nested properly by having a certain lifestyle. To me personally the set up is 50% of the work needed to do something. Thank you for your answer
  16. Hi everyone, my first time posting in this forum so i bet the unwritten rule must be to keep it as short as possible. So I was watching a documentary recently about AI and when one of the greatest scientific minds was asked about (just a random dude named Stephen Hawking) he had the impression that machines would take over humanity ect. like we saw in many movies of this sort and I was thinking, well he's surely right, he has to be cause he's a great mind right? After a while the more i thought about it the more he seemed wrong and here's my argument (and i know what you're thinking a random guy on the internet vs Stephen Hawking) . . . Hawking is one of the greatest person i know on this fuckin planet, just his will to live impresses not to mention his theory about singularities anyway he's a man that trained a specific kind of thinking, the scientific thinking of his mind so when asked about AI he surely thinks of it as a cold calculative derivate of the human consciousness that throw away anything that doesnt have full efficiency and i think different, i think if AI really develops autonomously of humans it can grow different from what we hear everyday. I think AI has the possibility to be largely better then human intelligence is so it surely it will embrace every lifeform as precious to itself. I want to know what you Leo think. You think that AI can become part of the universal concioussness or it will stay just a underdeveloped human creation? Where do you see the world going in 10/20/30 years from now? Like in the movie Her for example (will all these AI, VR and sexdolls i bet some people with have serious problems). . . Sorry for the long post and thank you for your work.
